What a performance Friday night. Almost reminded me of a freaky flow act, with all the political statements and dialogue. Rare it seems are the artists these days who are really doing their own thing and having any kind of success, and while Sage might not be quite the prophet that his monastic robes suggested, the tunes were great and he gave us a little perspective on some things that, in the end, are likely to be more sigificant to our survival than beats n breaks.
