Oh shit, you don't understand what you missed. ALi is still going off right now as I type and I only got to see an hour and half of what he did and all i can say is... totally spiritual. It was like one of those highs you can only get from really good music and I was getting it from when he went on until the i had to depart. I haven't felt so much happiness since.. well, shit. I can't remember. Anyhow, It was good seeing all of you again (Gator, Mary, Julie, Karlos, Thomas, Tabby, Tyson, yabyum Chris, Fernie, Mark, Chris, Stanfield, Miles) And it was good finally meeting Jon, Chris (master alpha) and Mr. Kill Whitey aka Adam D. If i missed you, sorry, I'm still in aww. You guys seriously dont know what you missed. I'm so glad I got in. I don't know what the fuck I would have done if not.. /me continues to melt.

damn derrick how can you leave me out? lol.. just playin. as i preached many a times.. ali followed through with all of my expectations. after witnessing sharam a while back and now ali.. i have to say they are EQUALLY amazing. flawless mixing the entire fucking time.. just like sharam. luke fair opened up perfectly for ali.. you will be hearing more of this guy too. when i got there really early i had seen ali walking around but he dissapeared, then i was looking up at the dj booth to see if he was up there and i looked right beside me and there he was. he's very laid back and cool as fuck. RARELY do i dance to the point of not being able to dance any more and ali did that. i was WORN the fuck out. it was good seeing everyone out.. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE MANY THAT I TOLD TO GO AND YOU DIDN'T GO.. unless you had a life threatening excuse.. you missed the fuck out. period. also i met a certain person tonight too.. ooooh my secret ;]

Damn ... wish I could have made it out to One tonight ... Sounds like he tore it up ... I'll make sure not to have a conflicting schedule next time Ali is in town ... -Wes

Wow. Me and my crew arrived at One and Luke Fair was throwing down. Very nice set. Not quite what I expected but still very nice. I thought it was funny that the place was completely packed to see Ali "Dubfire", and yet hardly anyone noticed him sitting at the bar for a few hours before his set. I'll admit that I was starstruck. I approached him while I was getting a drink, and the only thing I could muster to say was "Ali, right? You guys fucking rock.". He laughed and shook my hand smiling the entire time. Then Ali proceeded to get on the decks and blow the roof off of One. He threw in one track that was a little cheesy at first (right after "The Wall" remix"). But it was almost like he was intentionally making it cheesy, because the bassline to the following track that he dropped was sick, twisted and dirty. It was one of the best nights I've had at One. It was nice seeing everyone (Bolden, Derrick, Adam D, Julie). ![]() M |

Deep Dish was OFF THE HOOK!! I haven't danced like that in a quite some time. It was refreshing to see the dancefloor PACKED all night. That was my first time to club one. Honestly I stayed away because I heard it was a "gay" club, and although I have gay friends, that's really not my scene, mmkay. But Shit! I was suprised, it wasn't that bad, and the music was worth it. I think I'll have to add Club one to my top clubs list. |

How many of you have favorite cd's you listen to over and over again just wishing that one day you could get that same feeling from the dj live at a club (or rave, whatever)? Well, Saturday night was the closest I've come to having that wish granted. Ali gave me the best club experience I've ever had, hands down. The experience was one small notch above Judge Jules, only because I saw more raw dancing at One than at Red Jacket. Ali honestly made my dream come true.

I wonder what he thought about us going up to him wearing nothing but leather thongs and lace blindfolds? | |
