 | Hot and STEAMY! Deep Dish@ONE!
OH YES! It was a HOT night of music and dancing at club ONE!  Two of the a/c units had gone out earlier on in the day and they didnt have enough time to get them fixed, Julie was sweating so much her pants were almost completely SOAKED in thigh sweat and moisture lol...also, my friend that works up there told methat the a/c units had gone out so THAT"S the reason is was so HOT and STEAMY up there but after everyone started to leave around 3 it got a lil more cooler...It was SOOOO GREAT going back HOME! I hadnt been to ONE since the last time Deep Dish was there and that's a BAD THING! I forgot how much ONE kicked ASS! So as soon as me and the FABULOUS Mz. Julie walk in, we run into Bolden aka Silent Groove, tells us whats up and we proceed to walk around and check out the place...they brought out ALL the lighting rigs and extra lazers and the 4 HUGE disco mirror balls and it was just GREAT! Julie sees Ali standing next to the bar and she walks over and shakes his hand, she should've gotten his autograph but DIDNT! I think tonite I met and partied with more Dravers than ever before...There was Julie, Tabby, Mark, Derrick, Gator, Bolden, Jon, Thomas. and FINALLY getting to meet my true ONE Family member Chris aka MansterAlpha! And before he gets sad cause I ddint say his name in the above line up...FERNIE aka Blame! This guy is sooooo kool and just had a groovy attitude EVERY time I saw him through out the night! With my glasses off I could only recognize him by the multi-colored square on his chest of his shirt. He just sooo happy go lucky and I.D.ing every single track Ali and Luke Fair spun I was like "DuDE! Enjoy the music, quit IDing every single TRACK!" and he just grinned and said "Ok" Fernie is top notch in my book...look forward to partying with you again sum time soon "His mixing is flawless" -Bolden (on Ali's set) I distinctly remember when Ali came on...cause the music changed ina HEART beat...he started his set with sum up tempo "disco house" which was pretty damn good! And the out of NO WHERE he throws in this Pink Floyd track that YOU HAD TO BE THERE TO EXPERINCE! I heard..."All and All your just ANOTEHR BRICK IN THE WALL..." and JUMPED outta my seat and HIT THA DANCEFLOOR WITH A PASSION! I was like DAMN! This is sooo AWESOME! I HAD to dance to it, there was NO WAY I would miss out on the oppoutunity to do so...as Ali's set progressed, it got a lil darker, a lil heavier, which I was also diggin but it was time to socialize and walk around...all and all Ali's set was pretty stellar...as we walked out at 4 am the music was still going strong... Julie and I walked to my car and I gave her a ride to hers and we said our good byes...I drove home listening to the Eagle and Pink Floyd came on and YUP you guessed it the played Another Brick in the Wall...what a great way to end a GREAT night at ONE...I wanna thank everyone that was there for my homecomming lol it was great seeing everyone out there tonite... If it's any consolation, I heard Julie yell out "I miss Charlie!" a couple of times... P.S. I forgot to mention of everyone was getting DOWN on the dancefloor last night! Bolden and Derrick and Gator were all over the place! I kinda tired out early but it was truely a bad ass night at ONE  !

haha mark, don't try to deny your feelings for that lil guy  you shoulda just let him j/p!Well, i must say that my first deep dish experience was unbelievable!! I got there just as he was playing that pink floyd track and that got me all excited for what was to come. What an amazing set I'm so glad I made it out!! I danced the night away...i even walked outta there with my hair drippin' in sweat...ewwww!! but hey, I had fun....Especially, since i got to chill with some of my favorite dravers: julie, karlos, mark(i owe you!! thanks),derrick, bolden, david (gator), the scrumptious thomas...did i forget anyone?? hope not, if i did, feel free to smack me upside the head next time you see me OH, and i got to meet my fellow pyro-maniac Blame yay! it was very nice meeting you even if it was for the tiniest second. You actually stood right in front of me as you introduced yourself to julie and karlos at XS! i'm kinda short and easy to miss...hahaha. but i didn't know who you were until i asked them outside who "that guy" was.So yeah, if you missed out on club One, i am sorry! | a bit late... but
I'm still a bit damaged from this past weekend. But what a great weekend! I was runnin a bit late to ONE on saturday but luckily we hooked up a good parking spot despite all the mayhem going on with the Deep Ellum Art Fiasco or whatever. There was no line and once inside it was only a bit packed which was sort of weird being that it was already past 12.....Inside Luke Fair was still spinnin. He was alright. Nothing to write home about. I thought he wouldve spun a deeper darker set considering his latest remixes and whatnot but nontheless it was a good warmup. People were streamin in little by little all the while Ali was chillin at the bar. Once Ali got ahold of the decks it was motherfucken on. The place was got full and people were really havin it. This has got to be one of Dallas's best residencies as far as bigtime out of town djs is concerned...I dunno The music was slammin . ...I think Ali played a bit of everything last night. And what is it with those two guys and that "Brother, Where fo Art Thou" movie? Sharam played the main track last time and now Ali plays another track from the same movie.....Its funny but cool at the same time. The tracklisting overall was incredible. Good fucken choons. DRavers were of coarse out in full force. Derrick, Bolden, Mark, Thomas as well as Karlos and Julie (ooooohh yeah Mistress Julie) and I got to finally meet arson enthusiast T@bby, along with a few other people whos names I regret not being able to recall right now. And of coarse co conspirators Miles, Stan , TekBeeoootch, and company. I think the thing that made this night even better besides the Dish was the fact that all you guys were runnin around and equally having a good time. I cant wait for the next event were we'll all get a chance to kick it like that again. peace |
