Infusion @ Seven

WOW! Holy shit! I haven't danced that hard in ages. My adrenaline is still pumping...what a set. By far one of my favorite sets of all times, and it was fucking LIVE! How do those guys do it? They blew my highest expectations right out the fucking window. I am in awe...

Infusion ROCKED the place!! And I mean ROCKED it! Out of control!

My body needs to rest now...I am exhausted.

1) Word to the guy that posted before me.
2) A Huge FUCK YEAH to CLub 7. That place is awesome and i will be blowing my paycheck there frequently.
3) I Didn't get there till half way through Lances's set. I lived in Austin for a few years so I am accustomed to Lance delivering "The Shit" and he didn't let me down tonight.
4) Infusion > your mom....this was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. I'm talking RITM for the first time, Crystal Method for the first time, these guys fucking destroyed that place. If I wore panties, i would have thrown them at Infusion.
5) I am going to Miami next week so i am cooler than 99.9% of you....i kid i kid

PLUR, I want to give a shout out to my man Omar the bartender for getting me shitfaced

I can say absolutely nothing negative about Infusion's performance!!!

I've seen Rabbit & the Moon, the Crystal Method, Deep Sky, etc. and Infusion's performance tonight was far and away the BEST live performance I've ever seen! Manuel Sharrad is a fuckin rock star! Frank Xavier is one of the most humble, understated, nice artists I've ever met... cool as hell and an incredible foundation for such a killer act! Jamie Stevens is a show all to himself... Not even Donald Glaude has ever been able to show me the level of energy and sheer personality he did this evening!!! After the show they hung out and talked to anyone at all that was in attendance. They were playing to that crowd just the same as they would have for a crowd of thousands, proffessionals... class-acts all the way! Frank even had the nerve to tell me that they played "quite tame compared to normal"... if that was tame, then I can't fuckin wait until next go 'round! After apologizing to Manuel about the turnout after the show, he was nice enough to enthusiastically say "well then, next time we'll come on a Saturday and play all our big tracks"

Me and Tessai were jumping around to everything they played and singing to at least half despite being trashed! If they had played all of the tracks I had in mind I may have hurt myself! The tracks I didn't recognize were insane, and if I had them on vinyl.............i can't even imagine! Thank you so much to everyone that came out, and everyone who made this night as great as it was. To those that failed to come out... please slap yourself in the back of the head until you pass out, and when you wake up please iron your hands until you have no fingerprints. Sean, Lance, Mike, James, Lindsey, , Adrian, Joel, Donny, Ashley, Shawna, and anyone else who came out... thank you & see you at Evil Nine bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-David

It was an awesome performance, I enjoyed it very much . Just wish there were a lot more people there to really get the vibe going more. You can tell that Infusion plays off the energy and enthusiasm from the crowd and while the crowd that was there was into it, there were probably at most 50 people. With a artists like that, you definately want the place packed.

holy crap....

um er...

speachless...

you guys said it... I wish I could articulate something that I'm feeling after that show but I'm freaking speachless

man one of the most if the most INSANE show I have ever seen in my life!!!

I think I know what it feels like to be on CRACK now... I knew I had to leave to be at work early this morning but when that first note played I said... "Uh OHHH... I don't think I will be getting home early tonight" and I couldn't tear myself away from the dance floor...

Did anyone else notice the urinal vibrating so hard in the bathroom!??!?!?!?

And Sean said those extra stacks will be there for Evil Nine!!!

ok so I guess I wasn't speachless :-)

TAME? Are you fucking kidding me? I couldn't handle much more than what they delivered. Bring these mother fuckers back on a weekend...I'll be there from start to finish, you can guarantee that. Training begins now...

After letting this set soak in some more, I can't get over how fucking bad ass it really was. Damn I wish I could see them in Miami. I expect a full report from those lucky enough to witness them in action.

Again, bring these mother fuckers back! ASAP!

The first track played after Infusion was Fex - Stricken Roots. An insane breaks track I fucking love with a killer bassline.

Great show. I think I drunk one too many vodka cranberries. The turnout was kinda dissapointing. I mean it was a Thursday night and all, but come on Dallas. A world class act like Infusion draws about 50 people? What is wrong here? People don't seem to recognize good dance music here even if it comes up and slaps them in the face. Vanilla Ice and someone named Don Omar had bigger turnouts for fuck's sake.

Ok. Enough ranting. Infusion was absolutely top notch. Even though the turnout was dissapointing, the intimate environment was cool and enjoyable for just someone out to catch the show. Infusion will (and already is) a name that will continue to grow. Just flat out rocking beats and basslines, with really cool vocal effects thrown in at times. It's great to see guys make the whole live PA thing work, and work well. Gearwise, one guy held down the keyboard and vocal duties, one guy held down a main mixer, and the other guy held down a laptop and what I'm guessing was an MPC. Altogether, despite the turnout, Infusion put on an absolutely great show. If you didn't go, you definetely missed out.

Glad I creep out of the hole for this one,Infusion didnt disappoint at all, they went beyond my expectations,,Thanks to who ever brought them here. Hopefully next time they are here it could bring a better turn out , my guess a weekend would take care of that. Dam what a good sound system at Seven.
