nice show...hats off to Jenn and her group for doing this small intimate gig. chill environment with mark playing some crazy records...lots of new stuff and old stuff from DFA to Fela Kuti & Roy Ayers fittingly MASHED UP with some MJ's billie jean and ending the night off with the new Recloose "DUST" ...too bad this fell on the same wknd as SXSW.

yah it was fela and roy on their Music of Many Colours record... Mark played a mash up of 2000 blacks got to be free with MJ's Billie Jean. I would have preferred just the Fela and Roy on it's own but hey different strokes for different folks.

wow. what an incredible set did our friends Scott and Mark lay down?! You all helped make the night even better by coming and spending a lil time with each other and helping that spirit continue on to the next gathering. I cannot express my pleasure in seeing that community vibe shared and felt by all, and my thanks to Scott Pace and Mark for providing us with an audible elixir of sheer beauty.

Thanks to Christina for having us over afterwards. Mama, you make some DAMN good quesadillas and guac! Even if I am drunk its still DAMN good! And thanks to Tony, Terry, Leslie and the "Hokey Pokey" Miles for providing endless laughter and some fantastic intelligence in the early and late hours. Thank you to Crave for allowing another intimate gathering and providing most excellent care to us all. Thank you all for the love..share it, grow it and educate on it.
