Was just curious as to why not one person has posted a thing about Evil 9 yet. Just was wonderin how the show was and everything. I realize it's been a really nice day and alot of people havent' been in or near a computer. Any news or reviews would be kool. Peace out,MJ

I think everyone is sleeping in... that shit wore me out!!!!

I didn't realize till last night that they are coming back with Crystal Method!!!

I am so gonna be there... might not drink as much though!!!

Man that had to be a kodak moment if Rob V was gettin his groove on. Haven't seen or talked to him in a while. Btw Spoony M did you get a chance to check out the link I posted for their essential mix last night on Radio 1? Nice 2 hour mix if you haven't. Hopefully some others will give the scoop on how it all was last night. I'm sure it was the ILL!!! Wished I could have made it out.

Evil Nine was fucking dope!!! They dropped some hip hop tempo funkiness to kick it off and then just ripped it all night. The MCs, Juice Aleem and Toastie Taylor, were perched on top of the dj booth and sometimes the sub cabs all night keeping everybody hyped. The Evils dropped bomb after bomb to a packed dancefloor. The highlight (imo) was a new Moby remix they've done. Lots of knob tweaking on a midi keyboard into a laptop for nice effects on the tunes....they rocked it.

Sladek and Apolesse set the night up proper and the place was primed by the time the Evils went on. Good turnout. Lots of familiar faces. Great night.

Thanks kELSEY for that review as well. Yeah I love UK Emcee's!!! There always so mental and can get the crowd in a frenzy. I'm sure they were all about the stoopid crazy ill bombs!!!!!! HEAVYBIGBWOYBIZNESS!!!

The show was pretty good even though there seemed to be some audio problems with the sound system I think. Although more people showed up for this show than Infusion, for some reason the place wasn't packed wall to wall like it was for K-Swing. Now the K-Swing party had the total vibe going on all over the club wall to wall.

This show rocked! Thanks going out to promoters, Opening DJs, and Evil Nine! The opening DJs were awesome playing some nice progressive stuff to start the night. I really enjoyed the Seven setting. I love the remodeling that has been done to the place. Last time I went was for Sasha and place was packed and too smokey. I had to leave early because the smoke kept making my eyes teary. That sure wasn't the case though Saturday night. The place was awesome and I plan to go back for some more fun. I am amazed though that the place wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. If you weren't at Seven last night you missed out a real good show so try going to the next show when they come with Crystal Method. The vibe was just awesome last night. Good music, Good drink, and some fine ass women.

This show was sick. Yea..they were pushing the system so hard the amps kept overheating!! Thats the reason the sound kept cutting out...sucks but thats how it is

Regardless it was tons of energy in the place...were about 300 people there as opposed to the usual 500 on a saturday..still very packed and very thick vibe.

I will bring Toastie and Juice back with the Evils later this year...maybe with Infusion...never know

See you cats at Seven next week...i got TONS of toons from the Evils (about 30 tracks) to drop for the ear drum goodness that none of you have heard

I hope to see all of you on a regular basis on Saturday nights. As soon as i get back from Miami and im going to start having locals come in and spin early in the night..not just breaks DJs.

I having a feeling that most were sleeping in.. I got a little worn out and proceeded to sleep the afternoon away. The Evils rocked it like never before and I can confidently say that this was one of the best over all shows I've been into in a long time. It was great to hang out with Kyle Everett (I never got a chance to buy you that birthday shot man!) and his lovely lady: Abby, Kelsey + Robin, James + Jessica, Storm-e, David + Linz, Ashley, Speedx + Shauna, last but certainly not least MR. John Weid, Good to see you again & great coverage of all these great events! If some of you have not looked at Drinklocal.com as of yet, go glance at the o5' Gallery when you get a sec to see whats been happening at Seven, ONE along with other events..

Amazing show. Once again the vibe was thick in Seven. They made me dance.

Thay also got Rob Vaughan to dance. That was the first time I have seen him dance since Sasha and Digweed played at Higher Ground at the DMC (circa '97).
