I had a blast. Great tunes to dance to all night..Everyone on that lineup played such a great set. Psyborg was sick and couldn't make it but the transition from pibb to uhm was perfect. It was nice to see a dance floor of people all dancing untill 4:00am. Can't wait to do this again!!

Okay I now feel as though I am caught up on enough sleep to be able to write a review. First off the club looked immaculate. Josh and Keith of Mistical Productions did a wonderful job of turning Club One in a flouro enviroment. Beautiful colors and black lights everywhere. You knew as soon as you walked into the club that things were going to be a little different than normal. Many people commented how cool it was walking through the psychedelic tentacles hanging down from the ceiling in the main entrance way - thanks Chris from One for the lolz Seriously though if you didn't make it out you missed out because the place looked kick ass - from what I was told they had so much more in store but it didn't work out.I found out very shortly before the party that Dani - Psyborg was so sick that he couldn't stand up. Obviously I was disappointed and I know he was too. Dani I hope you are getting to feeling better, and we shall have to see what we can do in the future for you. Music wise I was incredibly happy. I worked the door for the first hour and a half, so I didn't geto hear in full detail Gilbert's set. I still got to feel the base in the front room, but from what I was told Gilbert did a great job of opening up for the party. I heard a sprinkling a vocal stuff, as well as hard stuff towards the end to lead into the Pibbinator. I also missed most of Brian's set, but did catch the last 20 minutes. He played as dark as you probably can with DnB. It made me incredibly happy to have Brian play that way over One's system, as that system is a welcomed treat for any dj and dancer. Thank you Gilbert and Brian for adding what you did to the night. Now onto the psy-trance........ I was up first and picked it up right where Pibb left off. Playing 150BPM and played dark and progressively got darker and darker. I was very happy with my performance. One funny note was this preppy guy came up to the booth and tried to get my attention while in a transition, so I told him to hold on. After the transition was done I walked over to the gate to see what he wanted. He asked me if I took bribes, I said no. He then followed it up by asking again if I would take a bribe to start playing Hip Hop, fucking Hip Hop. I told the guy that I was sorry I don't play Hip Hop, I play psy-trance and that's it. Then Mary, SnoWhite, had never heard me play before but said that she liked it and that "It sounds like trance, but different....", thank you Mary for the lolz on that. Overall I guess I played so dark that the DnB people couldn't handle it because they were scared and had to leave - thanks Pibb for that nice nugget of info....scared BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Mist was up next.....he brought the tempo down some, but keep the stormers coming. I love this guy because we play a similar style. He kept me dancing with his mixing, and his very nice unreleased cuts that that bastard gets from international artists - yes I am jealous I really enjoyed his set and my legs are sore because of it.Finally Dylan. Not many of you know this guy, but you should. Nobody could have played a better placed set than he did. He kept the tempo high, but changed the musical focus to a much more beautiful and melodic style of psy-trance. It was great to have that considering Mist and I had destroyed people for the last couple of hours. It was also a treat to see him do this on the cdj's for I had never seen him play cds before. Thank you Dylan for a wonderful ending to a wonderful party. I would like to thank all of the open-minded new people that showed up, and of course all of the regulars. Thanks to the Austin crew for the drive up just to check out the locals, your presence there was very nice. Thanks to Gilbert and Brian for understanding my vision and rolling with it. Thanks to Marco for being the person that you are, and bringing the energy you did to this event. Thanks to Mist for all your help and guidance. Thanks to Chris and Shelly at One. Thanks to Jessica for kicking my arse in gear at times through this process. Lastly thanks to everyone that was still there and dancing at 4AM, there was at least 20-25 of you - I appreciate it. Next Mistical Productions show is already in the works. Look foir details coming soon. |

This was a great show, I loved the music, Uhm you played great, this was the first time for me to hear Mist even though I've come to Club One parties almost every time, and he played some great floor stomping tracks... Club One has awesome sound and the decor was superb, especially those tentacles. Any of the Dallas Psy fans going to the open air Austin party next weekend? It sounds like a great event.

nice party for sure MistProd. We got there around 12:45am and Uhm had already gone on, so we were pleasantly greated with some storming psytrance sounds. I guess most of the junglists had left by that time, because the crowd was mostly Dallas psytrancers. The deco was fantastic, I am very happy that Skywise and Dylan will be bringing some of it to Austin for us this weekend, BIG THANKS you guys. Uhm played a great set, nice to hear Para Halu and Grapes of Wrath and many other favorites on the system. Mist's set was good as well. Definately had that Chemical Crew sound going through it. I am guessing he was playing alot of new stuff, I didn't really notice the tracks, but I would guess some Psychotic Micro, Azax, and Damage came through my receptors. Everything sounded very good. Dylan played a more melodic set with some oldies but goodies. The crowd was pretty energetic and it was nice to see some new people here and there. Thanks to MistProd for the good time... See everyone this Friday here in Austin for the party. Entropy and Mexican Trance Mafia are gonna make the place explode with energy!!!

nice vibe. nice party. good to see everyone out. great job by all persons involved with the production. many props to uhm for putting the bulk of it together. glad to hear people had a good time! fyi, jeff - i played absolutely 0% chemical crew, and not a single track by one of their artists (damage, psy micro, etc)... glad you dug it, though, by the way you were dancing...

If people are keeping score at home, then I would have to say that the psy-trance won. If I had to make an educated guess it would be for a couple of reasons:A. The DnB was played early B. Psy-trance scares some people(as shown by Pibb saying that I scared the DnB peeps with the tracks I was dropping) C. DnB heads might not be open-minded enough to try something "new" D. This wasn't the only party of the night E. Did I mention that the DnB was played early All in all, as shown by my review, I was incredibly happy with the whole event. There was enough of a turnout, from what I could tell manning the window, in the beginning to make me happy. I would have liked more, but what can you do. Ultimately I walked away from the party breaking even, with a huge smile on face, a huge sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and sore legs(that are still sore today I might add). I wouldn't have done anything differently, and I wish I could relive the night all over again. Once again thanks to all who showed up and had fun with us. | |

I didnt feel like I was in a WAR zone... I thought there was a great vibe throughout the whole night! I enjoyed Titan and Pibbs sets Very Much!! Then when Uhm and Mist Followed the vibe became an explosion!! I just wish I hadnt been sick all week - My energy was deficient and dancing almost impossible.. but I tried and I dint leave until after 3- because the music was soo Awesume!! I also wish I could relive this night again or atleast recorded it!!
