wow dodging the tornado hail crazyness storm in the middle of nowhere in a local HEB and coming back to my tent completely blown down and soaked but then getting to dance to psy-trance into the wee morning hours seeing the sun rise and everyone still dancing was beautiful - this was a truly magnificent event thankyou shiva

Yah, the mud really made the party. I had a fucking blast, and I was really impressed how nothing could stop the party coming together. Gotta go to the doctor tomorrow though - I danced so hard I think I've got a stress fracture in my food. It hurts like hell, and my feet are all cut up from runnng around barefoot, and pushing trucks and U-Hauls out of that damn mud. Big ups to Shiva for putting together yet another bang-up party. These guys never fail to disappoint.

Sorry, you know what I meant Yeah, I think Josh has a bunch of pics, especially of muddy feet. So I went to the doctor today, and luckily it's just a sprain in my foot and not a stress fracture. I'm getting too old to dance all night... my knees are wearing out so I guess it's time to practice more and start spinning again.

BOM! How's it hanging, peeps? Good to see Adam's pics -- they came out a bit cleaner than mine, but I got some nice pics of the deco before the whirlwind of a storm (oh puns feel almost as dirty between my toes as Manor Mud™).I setup a torrent (my very first of the uncompressed images and small video clips of the storm. http://hyoomen.hopto.org:31399 will get ya' to the tracker. Please stay on for a time (days? weeks?) to keep the torrent spreading. Adam, if you have interest in releasing the high res pics, I'll gladly throw together a torrent of those as well.If there's a request for smaller sizes, I'll throw 'em up somewhere. If you have questions about BitTorrent, check google.com or the SGOA tribe at tribe.net. Peace, and I look forward to so much more this year. PS: I didn't get a photo of my feet, but I have a 2" gash in my foot that is healing quickly thanks to Neosporin. Keep it barefoot and keep it safe. PPS: I realized where I recognized you from, Tom! I'm the red-goateed fellow with the glasses. Helped work the gate at one of the farmbowl parties w/ Skywise. You rock, and good to see you out! |

Wow, that sucks about the foot, hope it's better now. I have a cut on my hand that's in a difficult place to heal properly, i'm trying to keep it dry and reduce movement. Awesome pics, btw.... it feels surreal to see it all again. |

| Madness on the Ranch!!!
first off i'd like to thank the organizers of the party for putting it all together. hail, tornado and truckloads of mud didn't stop you from throwing one the best parties i've been to in a really long time. me and a couple friends drove down and back to new york and i dont think we would've made it back in such high spirits if it wasnt for the party...the energy was amazing, the people were amazing, shit even the mud was amazing. it was only until the next day that i realized i left my shoes on the side of the road by the entrance. whatever, i would gladly lose another pair of shoes for a night like that. i'd also like to thank whoever (i think his name was ron but i apologize if i got it wrong) who brought the liquid hits, they kept me going well into the next day. i'm still not entirely sure if i'll ever know what went on that night, was a psychedelic adventure to the tenth. shiva shakti, you rock!!!! I'll forever be on the lookout for more of your parties whenever I've down south again. Thank you everybody for some really great memories! -Abdullah |

Hahahah! Glad you had a good time, NY peep! It was great meeting y'all, and I hope you come down for some of the other madness that happens. If you make it down in May, come check out the Mistprod party in Dallas with Grapes of Wraith. Also, be sure you check out the new SGOA tribe on tribe.net. PM me if you want more info. PS: Please watch out for the drug talk. We have to be a bit sensitive about that on these boards to keep unwanted attention away.

Nice pics! Yeah this party was off the hook for sure. Such resilience and determination from everyone that was there to ensure a good time. You could feel the passion on the dance floor. Big thanks to Shiva Shakti to pulling it off even after a tornado hit the venue during setup. I guess those near death experiences makes one want to dance their ass off! |
