![]() | Larry "Mr. FINGERS" Heard @ Seven
just got home... props to jose and steve for one of the best parties in Dallas in a very long time! i left a little bit after Larry ended his set off with a Patrick Adams classic! he dropped jam after jam... highlights were hearing some of the greatest house classics ever! like magic feet, 151 by Armando... Searchin on Nu Groove and energy flash! totally unexpected! larry really banged it out for us tonight and it was a magic, otherworldly, genius! i was satisfied after hearing Larry that i could not listen to anymore music... was also nice to see young Wood Rosen spark off the night with some NY garage and soul... why was he kicked off!!!??? he only played for 20 minutes...comon'! anyways would have been just fine hearing woody and Bill (he also played like 3 records?) g'nite folks...maybe i will see some of you at our chicago tribute party at RBC tomorrow night... i left inspired...hope you did too.

more to come but I agree on the 151 and don't forget the Adonis - No way back. From soulful to deep to acid to tracky and all over again. My wife really doesn't really like EDM. She just goes once in awhile for me but she was actually getting her groove on. |

Larry killed.....I've never had so many people come up to me and say they liked what they were hearing and never heard it before.....classic house at it's best. Thank You Fresco for your consistency to provide great parties, Alvin for rocking out (it's good to see them braids boppin'), Clark for not knocking over the speakers while dancing on them (hope you got your cell back), Monarch for constantly reminding me the title of each track (this fool can't name more than 10 records in his collection), Alex for being Alex , Charlie for getting kicked out for smoking a cigar (they thought it was weed but later let him back in), Lori for letting hug her, Liz for trying to start a fire by rubbing our butts together and Paul Paredes for saying I looked like Donnie Brasco!cheers

Killer time! Dope ass tracks. One right after the other. Woody, your set was amazing!!! Thanks for the CD too. Man, that place was packed!!!!!!! I'd never been to Seven before and had an awesome time. The remodel of the entire place is amazing!!! Nicely done. Enjoyed gettin' my groove on from 10 til 2. Nice workout! If you missed this, you missed the @&(@#)$_ out!

What can I say other than Larry did what we all knew he would, and that is beat it DOWN. Eric S. can stop trying to bring back acid house now. Heather was on point all night and kept the crowd going til the lights came on. Much thanks to Oh Boy Ent. and Fresco for making it happen and giving me a chance to shine. My feet hurt REALLY bad. For the first time in my life my back is actually sore.

I have to agree the show was amazing!! Larry did things with the turntables that Ive never heard before. Thanks again to the promoters for throwing such a good event. Ive been to many shows in my lifetime and seen many dj's. This was definatly the best Ive seen.I wish I could have stayed for Heather, but I didnt get that opportunity Did anyone record the sets from last night? If so, How do i get a copy?

What a party. Larry played even better than I expected, which is saying a lot. He Set the tone perfectly for Heather to jump on and push the vibe even further. Wish I could have made it out earlier to catch Woody's set. I had a great time tho, congrats to Jose and whoever else involved for putting together another unforgettable night.

![]() | WHY ARE WE ALL HERE?
The evening was awsome. AS I walked into the club my ears started to smile. As I walked around the club and saw everyone enjoying themselves my heart started to smile. As I walked I started to dance I could hear everyone at a point of just letting go and dancing to the sounds of a man who more than satisfied my soul with the music, I started to cry with joy. Man I all can say is artist. Like Renior , Like Michael Angelo. The man did what I expected his mixes were as clean as I have seen in along time. I would watch him stand there with both records playing as one making music from his two instruments the tables. Heather holy shit, this woman can rock the body, She made me want to grab the best looking woman in the club and dance with her until she could not take it anymore. I am going on record and saying music wise, vibe wise, and Love. Best party of the years. plus I saw the most beautiful woman in the world last night. I have seen her before and I have dance with her before have even spoken to her before and we have fallen in love before on the dance floor. but I am sorry I do not remember your name so. my love once again I loose and pray to see you again. maybe on the other side. or just when I close my eyes. every time I see her we cross paths but one day it will be our time to stop and see if dreams do come true. I think she may be a dream cause she is always the one that gets my eye and my heart GOD stop fucking with me she has to be real. being drunk and not remembering sucks.

I really enjoyed myself. It was very good to see alot of old faces and meet new faces. Musically it was a great evening. The good old days are still here. Damn its good to be home again. Also Charlie sorry brother. I guess thats what happens when we try to dance with the devil. Sorry I can not make the cook out. Last edited by FelipoC; 04-16-05 at 04:07 PM. |

![]() | LARRY HEARD IS NO JOKE!!! That little guy beat the shit out of some records last night. I think many people didn't know what to expect from Larry but he showed everyone what the meaning of a TRUE LEGEND is. Few dj's have the talent to EDUCATE while they entertain and still maintain a level of energy and excitement...he more than exceeded expectations. Larry is also one of the most down to earth individuals I think I've probably ever met in my life. No "superstar" attitude, he graciously handled every request for autographs and interviews. His set ebbed and flowed from classic to acid to deep to tracky and back. Who woulda' thought that Mr. "Deep House" incarnate would toss in nuggets like "Energy Flash" or "Conniption". He topped it off at the end of the night at the stroke of 4:00am after Heathers' set when he dropped "Can U Feel It". Like I said he's a TRUE LEGEND. |
