A terrible turnout. Music was awsesome. I got there to hear the end of juice's set, great job as alaways. Victor pounded it out. Nice meeting Joe(mxmind) finally.

Ya, Victor showed up at Afterlife after he was done at One, I talked to him for a bit about the party. I felt really bad for him because of the turnout, he deserves much better.

Charlie played a great set. Victor as well. Sound System's great....of course I wish more people would of came and supported everyone. All those guy that played deserved better. but it was good to see the those who showed.

Well what can you do....We promoted the hell out of it...The fact the planet of the drums and Vicious Vic were playing the same night really hurt us. Victor Dinaire deserves to have a packed club, but people know the name Vicious Vic more.....We will bring out Victor again......and probably Viciouc Vic with him.....

this 9 page thread here about how we should all work together to better the scene, you werent in it for the money, etc etc etc....?
And yet when someone offered to work with you because we already had the 7th planned you flat out refused???
I dunno, maybe I'm missing something or I dont have the whole story.....

I was almost sure there had to have been some sort of logic behind why they were having this party on the 7th.....Something like what you said would definitely describe it....but I really honestly dont have any of the story....it was just something in the back of my head......I personally figured why would anybody even come close to thinking that there would be a good turnout when there are that many events going on the same day? Club One would have been really full if the same crowd that went there in 2001 went there.....but then again it was full every friday and saturday back then.....

Hopefully it'll change back to where people will appreciate a good local show again or go out and see new artists from outta town.

I love Dallas, and it's great to see the usual suspects, but I also think the party scene has been stretched so far. If you have 5 events going on at once, why don't you try to combine together which Charlie actually brought up a good point.

None the less sorry I couldn't make it, mad chaos at afterlife! That was the funniest but craziest shit that could happen in the span of a few hours. If it wasn't so chaotic I would've been there to see vic then come to afterlife. I talked to him though and he said he had a good time at one so I hope everything went well at least besides the headcount.

charlie (pivot) rocked the fuckin house in my opinion.
Been waiting to hear him and greenwave (good to meet you guys).
No offense to Club One staff / promotions etc.. yall are cool as shit.
However, I'm not a fan of the sound quality in there.
And brand name equipment doesn't have shit to do with it.
