uhm......It was cool and all. The music was rockin. Thou I spent my entire night playin pool and washin down beer with uhm more beer.

just two quick stupid complaints....

first.....can you guys please stop telling us its free until 2 a.m.?
The guy at the door no matter what charged me and my friends 5 bucks....but he let in the girls for free. Im getting tired of these little details being left out.
That and the bar staff are an incompetent lot.

other than that I had a good time thou playing pool and playing foosball with random people....

Yeah so I stroll up there a lil after 2, I had a prom after party to go to first...I was feelin good when I got there, hopin Tabby or Mark or sumbody would be up there waiting for but alas NO! They Hadn't gotten there...on the plus side, the dj that was spinnin when I got there, I think is was Dat Guy Im not sure, well he must've know I was there cause next thing I heard is".....everything.....in it's right place......everything.....in it's right place..." I was like OHHHH YESSS! Radiohead

I sat there, chilled for a lil bit, order sum wings and a drink, grooved more on the dj's set...then Mark popped in for a lil bit to show me the new Sasha and Digweed flyer, he left me a few to pass out and then he was gone, right before Mark left Fernie made an appearnace with Yvonne and sum of their friends in tow and told me had already had been there for a couple of hours, they were playin pool and all...I told him to stick around for Red EyE's set but he said he was tired and I was ok but your missing out...and he missed out big time...

...then Red EyE got there a lil before 3, after that TABBY showed up and we talked, she was EXHAUSTED but she still troopered out to XS even though she had like a long ass drive home...so we're sittin, chillin, Red EyE gets on the tables and proceeds to TEAR SHYT Up!

so Red EyE is gettin more into the set, and then the FABULOUS SUPERSTAR DJ E.P. showed up and I finally got to meet him, EP is one funny ass guy, pretty much the rest of Red Eye's set, he, tabby and I sat around and gossiped and chilled and then it happened...

I knew from the opening beat and tempo it was comming...what I had been waiting all night to hear and wasnt sure if he was going to spin it or not...Red EyE...my NUMBER ONE favorite Dj in ALL the DF/W area spun his mix on Nine Inch Nail's "Something I can NEVER have"!!!! I RAN out of the restroom and told Tabby and EP "THAT"S IT!!! THAT"S what I wanted to hear!!!" and I think I scared Matt cause his eyes got all big and I was just SOOOOO EXCITED to hear it! I hadnt heard it in sucha long time! I was just sooo damn HAPPY! My mind was in a state of excstacy through the whole song, it just brought back so many good memories of ONE and my old kliq and it was just GREAT!

Yeah so then I also got to meet J-who from the boards he chilled with us for the rest of the night, and MattJ, met him too...then EP took the decks after Red EyE and spun sum wicked music, it sounded good but I was dogged tired...I wish I couldve stayed there to hear J-who throw down after EP but I was start ing to come down pretty hard and I know if I crashed out there, it wouldnt have been a pretty picture lol

I wanna thank Matt for throwing XS and giving us a place to go hang out after hours to Tabby for hanging with me and laughing at our inside jokes, for meeting J-who and Mattj and the FABULOUS Mister E.P. who I look forward to hanging out with mroe in the future and to Fernie, for being a drunkard lol ok that's all...this review is getting too long..

I had fun doing visuals that night. It was cool to get my scrim/video/flouro art installation up in a new location and mxing video along with the djs there. Redeye tore it up. This guy has to be one of the best techno djs in this state by far! There is definitely much promise to this venue! Good to see EP, sorry i couldnt stay long! there will be a next time.

yeah, josh, you did a good job it was nice meeting you..sorry i wasn't to talkative--i was dead tired and my mouth was pretty much pasted shut!

I'm suprised i didn't collapse from exhaustion! lol, but i stuck it out and it was fun Red eye tore it up, as did E.P. (that one dance is all i had in me) i really enjoyed your set even though i sat through most of it! then j-who got on the decks and thew in some good house at sunrise. i wished i coulda stayed to get my drink on 'round 7, but i had things to do a few hrs later Matt, Next time for sure!!!! Karlos, next time i will be up for wings & pool, ok? thanks for always crackin' me up!! but damn, you nearly dun gave me a heart attack when red eye played NIN...whoah! you busted out like a bat outta hell! hehehe
