| The Return of the Kegger Menace...Private Party dos at Graham's
Well to begin this review I was behind the bar acting as cupboy to the public but it sure does have it's benefits. Thank you Graham for allowing me to diversify and bartend to raise the Boat Party Money for me and friend, but moving on. This party was weird, I arrived about 9:00 with Timco's mixer for the dj's. It seems everyone threw in a little something something to the party. As they always should. The party wasn't there until about 1:15 or 1:30 or so and then it was a RUSH, but not a Greek one. Soon it felt like the old "Grahams" with all of the Usual Suspects, including Monarch and the U.N Crew but I don't think one of them was wearing one of their unique shirts. Everyone flew to "Grahams" after 2:00 and I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed we received all of the best people after that time and I just had an absolute blast sitting behind the bar, playing bartender... I was forced more then ever to really listen to the music....which was off the chain. I couldn't dance (that much) in that little tiny space behind the bar I hope some people got their groove on... It was really great to see Rufuspfunk for the first time in like ages, with a hot little chick named Adria, I think. If I remember correctly she was one of the baddest dancers at SPY back in the day....Brian ask her is she knows tigger... All in all it was a great night...now if we could just book some headliners to raise the capital to get a beer and wine liquor liscense...things will be back to how they used to be...the vibe was still there, but we need your help with the atmosphere...it still hasn't hit Graham yet that he owns a bar, let's make it a real one! I'll promote the shit out of that "private party"... Dallas, it's time to rebuild it...we can do it! Last edited by confucius; 06-07-05 at 03:48 PM. |

P.S. The place is "under renovation", Brandon. The party in question is a small gathering for "those that like to get down". Props to Idris and Graham doing the damn thing. The a/c feels fine.

much enjoyed the hospitality, Graham your a great guy. I was glad I went. The previous place I went; I was enjoying the music, but it seems the style of the dj was, well I did not like it. Glad I went and it was a great way to end the night with good friends and good people. plus good music is always welcome to my ears. did not go out all week last, but the one time I did was worth it to my ears. great tunes, jeremy( monarch),timco, and ernie . Thank you. hope to be apart of the next one.

I've realized that I made some mistakes in the initial post (which have been corrected), but I believe it to be necessary in order to obtain the liscense...The faster we "get er' done", the faster we can have things back to normal. the re opening of a venue ie. "Grahams" is just like another venue down the road "Cloud Nine" and rather you like him or not...Billy is a man that knows the laws and I've witnessed his little keg parties go down without a problem... the BYOB thing has been going down for awhile and I've witnessed no altercations with the policia known as TABC...if those same guidelines are followed...and people actually know where to go next time then the event will continue to go down without a hitch... I understand the concern and the paranoia, but the faster we get the place up to code...the easier it will be on all of us...especially Graham and the bartender for the night...the people who stand to get in the most trouble, not the patrons!!!! |

Yea, i knew that was her! Damn she looked good! The last time that I saw tigger was at like Meltdown (insert #, either 5 or 6) He and Mandi were still together, but I lost his phone number...it was some 903 #, apparently he went to Florida and won some dance contest not to long ago... | |
