Well, I can safely say that was the worst set of my life.
The booth was on the floor, and I just couldn't adjust to the delays. I was actually embarrassed by what was coming out of the speakers.

And naturally, there all these people I know from the board out there, hearing me for the first time.
Where were you guys last Sunday, when I was tearing up Club Bacano?

Come see me this Sunday and I will make it up to you all.

Oh, this is what kills me too. DJ Aqualight was able to adjust to it very well, and was doing some awesome work. I had never been on a Wed, and highly recommend it. Great music.

I have to add that I really liked the vibe there too.It was very relaxed, very happy.

And the light guy, who I never got to meet, was awesome. Followed me very well, especially considering he didn't know me or have any idea what I would play. That was impressive.

What happened to them having the booth up there on the second floor?

I really dug that setup. Especially the video mixing console....Its like NASA up there.

No, Taki, that really was horrible. But at least I get to go back when they move the booth back up.
I just wish the people that hear me when things go wrong could hear me doing it right.

The Nancy thing is a refernce to the Howard Stern show. One day Jackie Martling out of the blue apologized to his wife Nancy for something, and they harrassed him about it forever.

One other thing I forgot:
DJ Aqualight was one of the best hosts I have ever played for. He was very cool, and I really enjoyed hanging out with him.

Paul thats a common complaint for most of us there always seems to be a crowd of familiar faces when we just arent at our bests....you just gotta stay positive and move forward. get moving foward and the crowd will follow. aqualight said that the sound problems would be up to par this week for my guest spot. you outta roll out there with me.
