Yes well...my review wont be too long, I promise because I didint have that good of a time last night. I really really do not want to some off sound like I'm bitching or anything, but for 1. There were too many lights and 2. if security hadnt fucking harrased us all night i.e. following us into the restroom on two seperate occasions and flashing their lights in our faces and being two feet behind us at all times, I guess the night wouldve gone ok. Now maybe it's because I wear glasses that the lights were getting too me or what not I guess. I really wasnt diggin the music, we arrive around 11 and TOTALLY missed the DnB set at the beginning. I hate to be negative about a party, cause I really did try to have a good time, but when they carded my friend and almost didnt let him in cause the doorman didint think it was him on his own ID, my night went downhill from there... Anywho, looking forward to the Dark Side party.... Laterz, karlos |

the only part that sucked was that some girls wanted to dance on the only place to sit, and i didn't really want to leave, but then again i iddn't really want to stand up anymore so i left. oh yea, if they would have taken their shirts off i would have maybe stayed... some music was good, and the signs on the bathroom was pretty funny... the drinks were pretty high... i don't want to sound negative either so i'll just leave it at that. |

Still... when normal lighting starts to drown out my projection, then it's a little too much. (: The lighting needed more moderation and coordination. - level6

well i got there at about 10:30 supposed to play at 11. Mr. Splat had to have his time slot moved so I played from 3-4am. I actually had a blast playin. I didnt stay around all night, I was at Orchid chillin for a while with drinkin610(thanks for the company bro) Ya, ALOT of lights, but when they would all be that deep blue/purple color, it was really cool. I just like deep blue scans from intellibeams, Meltdown 3 style. Anyhew, me, Aeon, John and Danny V. went to XS, and I have to give props to Matt V. for this one. HE IS NOT LYING, the place is really cool folks try it out, he needs the numbers, and they serve REALLY GOOD FOOD all hours, and it is very reasonably priced(under $10 i had a philly cheese steak/ fires, and a Red Bull) all in all it was a good night for me, thanks to all. boowilliamstonight cheers, j. |

Bass X Paramental... I guess I got there way too early because the flyer I got said 8 pm and I got there around 9 or 9:30. ANYWAY. The djs had just gotten there, and I got tired of waiting so I went back to my car for a bit and came back at 9:45 or 10 and they were finally letting people in. But I am 17 and the age limit was 18 and up When they changed the venue to DNA, it also changed the age limit, and I was rather pissed because I went out of my way emailing everyone to make sure that it was 17 and up so I could get in! I called the info line but it didn't say anything about the age limit being different, so I figured everything would be cool. I spent 30 bucks on tickets, and my friend and I couldn't go. That sucks, man. The dude at the door said that with our tickets we could get in to Bass X Paramental II, BUT I have no clue when that is going to be or where because the only way you could find out was if you went to the FIRST B-X-P. ARg! |

First and foremost, my thanks to everyone that is commenting on the Bass X Show. It takes all kinds of comments from people to get it just right. I personally thought that the show was great! All the dj's totally kicked ass. I thought that the lighting was good. I personally didn't have any problems with the security, but then again i am 26. The actual club has a super awsome set up!!!! I especially like the men and womens bathroom labels!! Really DNAish. I think the free BASS X 2 Will be even better. |
