I must say I'm very impressed with him. He threw down fuckin' proper. The venue is really nice too. It used to be a hip hop club called "Phenomenon." Looks like we might have a new Ridglea... Props to the crew that brought Klute.

Hell yeah, the venue was awesome, 3 mins away from home =) And of course, Klute brocked out hardcore.....good god, my neck fuggin hurts. Nice one Stamina! Boh. man, i've edited this thing like three times...i'm illerate today...heh. |

I THOUGHT that club used to be Phenomenon. Yeah, Stamina deserves massive props for tonight. Whoever it was that said tonight was not on par with an Ops night were waaaayyy wrong. Stamina, in one night, with their first event, put themselves up with the A-class drum & bass crews in Dallas. They just don't fuck around! The venue is pimp, plenty of space, decent drinks, plenty o' parking. I sadly didn't get to hear any of the Stamina crew play except for JC. Very impressed though. Good track selection and mixing, which is something I have been missing lately. I'm in the middle of his promo disc, but good stuff so far. 78 minutes and 25+ tracks...unf unf! Klute, now this man fucking owns! I hate to sound cliche and shit, but he truly took 5850 on a journey tonight. 2 hours with all the flavors of drum & bass. He threw in the rollers, the funk, the dubs, the dancefloor blinders...all them, up and down, one set. Fucking amazing. Mixing on point in a time when I've been highly unimpressed by many of the the crop of DJ's circulating (and wrecking) through here. I couldn't even begin to name off all the tracks. Familiars such as Squash and Champion Sound as well as new blinders like Mutation (2000 and X), The Calling and the fucking wikid Concord Dawn tune, Morning Light pummeled the crowd. I'm sure the We R the Ones remix was in there, but I missed it somehow. The house sounds seemed to be bumpin nicely upstairs as well. I didn't catch much up there unless I was catching the breath Klute had ripped from my lungs, but everything seemed pimp. The system upstairs could use a smidge of work, and maybe some buffers so the people jumping around don't knock the needle off and piss of Mr James Gunaca  , but otherwise it was nice.Props to Stamina for putting the night on. Big ups the MC Eye and Silent MC for stepping up on the mic. Respect the crowd, init to win it all night long! If this is just the beginning of Stamina, fucking watch out! <edit bizness> I forgot to add...I had house head friends with me who have basically a "closet interest" in drum & bass (i.e. they like it, they just aren't crazy about it like I am) who said tonight was the best time they've ever had at a jungle show. Once again, props on Stamina for that one too! </edit bizness>

Good lord......that was a FANFUCKINGTASTIC venue....the drinks were strong..the sound was decent..the lighting was very good...and i dont know if anyone else noticed but thier was a TON of tasty little jungle girls..never have i seen so many super hotties at a drum and bass event.....man and does my neck hurt this morning from bangin the old head....i hope more events are thrown at that place.....it was a very refreshing change of pace

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out to the show last night. The vibe was so amazing and we were glad that people sacrificed to come out and see KLUTE on a Tuesday night. I hope the venue and sound were satisfactory considering it was our first event and everyone had a good time cuz I know we did. If anyone has any suggestions to make anything better for our next show don't hesitate to send us a private message. regards Jeremy B

i had a damn good time, had been looking forward to last night for quite sometime. the venue is plush and the music was dope. yay!
