I thought for sure there'd be some reviews up by now.

I got there around midnight and Merritt was setting the pace nicely dropping some nice tracks (old & new, but quality stuff none the less). I was dancing on the floor within minutes of arriving. Merritt extended his set into Sean's time slot...not sure why as I saw Sean around. A bit dissappointed at that because I love to hear Sean throw down proper pre-headliner sets...always wicked stuff and always sets the mood just right. Merritt did an excellent job though. Sean did come on eventually and the crowd was starting to get their groove on, me included. It wasn't too many tracks later when Evil Nine came on. It was a bit of a let down for me. IMO Juice's mic volume was up a tad too high and he used it a tad too much. It's one thing to throw down some rhymes on top of beats, its another to throw down some rhymes on top of rhymes already on the track. ie: A sing along. I wasn't expecting him to be so "involved" on almost every track...this imo got old pretty fast...and annoying, but that's just me. The dance floor seemed to love it so they were doing their job properly. I had enough at about 3:15 so we jetted. I enjoyed their set when they opened for TCM a while back but this one left a bad taste in my mouth..maybe it was the alcohol Juice was pouring down everyone's throat near the front. :drink:

Got there @ 3:30 and paid $15 to hear prodigy and some other random "new rock" bullshit i heard way too many times working at Clear Channel. I heard it was going off earlier in the night, dammnit.

I thought this show was fuggin awsome. Evil 9 killed it. Danced throughout their whole performance, was very impressed. Had an awesome time. EVERYONE was dacning when they came on....that's one thing I love about Seven is the ppl tha go there like to dance! Merrit you did great also. Lost my debit card and that's the only thing that sucked (if anyone happened to pick up a blue debit card from Community Credit Union let me know!!!) Other than that GREAT show!

I had fun! I liked hearing the doors track that someone played - maybe Merritt?There was a lot of popular rock music goin on there at the end. But it was fun, we danced until the end of the night and then got signed groupie posters. ;P

cool show.
glad i made it...although i broke my toe earlier that night!
was diggin on merrit's set, obviously giltan and phooka were tearin it up outside.
I was also likin the first half of evil 9's set, i'm suprised it wasn't just me.
I think the prodigy was a request, but it was nice to hear it on a nice system for once.
i did start getting tired around 3 -330, which is unusual, but whatever.
a grandma tried to steal codeblue's car!!!!!!!!!haha

Yeah, that night was a blast! Tom was all smiles every time he leaned over to grab another CD from his book. I saw a few familiar faces, but not too many... Once I'm a bit drunk I can't see much from the lightboard though. I must say the crowd was jumping all evening. Sean's set was a bit short, but as long as we got to see the Evils rock it... who cares. Sladek will be playing the next big breaks show, so come see him then! Merritt really suprised me with some of the electro he pulled out of his bag that night. All-in-all it was a great night & I look forward to the next breaks show at Seven.
