bad fucking ass! Tekmoe and Joseph rode down with me. We ended up arriving around 10:30. Started setting up our circus tent. (thing was alot bigger than I anticipated). A whole buncha cool cats came by to say hi... Met a ton of cool peoples and have a hard time remembering all the names:-P There was a BUNCH of heads there this time around. Anybody get a head count? I was amazed I didn't see any drama at all whatsoever. Everybody was so friendly to everyone else. I couldn't tell you how many peeps offered me beer, etc... for free. The vibe was so thick it was unbelievable. The music really blew me away. The raid5 soundsystem is AMAZING! All the sets had a positive outcome in one way or another. Psytrance is intensily powerful... that rolling bassline is still ringin in my head :-) I'd say the best part of the event was when we were blessed with a beautiful morning rainbow right over the dancefloor. We will have some videos posted up soon. I didn't think it was possible to top Dark Forest but somehow Tenebrae did. Last edited by csid; 09-15-05 at 10:30 AM. |

Incredible... Thank you to everyone involved for throwing this - I had an incredible time. Yowzas, we tapped into some powerful frequencies last night. Thanks for all the telepathy, the endless wordless conversations from across the dancefloor (I shared so much with some of you, and don't even know your names), the meeting of the minds, and the exertion of positive energy. Thanks to the DJs for providing the musical tools for us to create something beautiful. I especially loved the deepness in the morning. This was much more than just a party, and it's something I will be thinking about for a long time to come. It seems I learn something new every time.... Hopefully some of you can make it to Powwow in a couple weeks. |

I think I had WAY too much fun at this party. Yes there was a lot of good energy going around. It rates up there with some of my experiences from the Hazey Daze outdoor parties in the late 90s I went to. The Horror Place set, despite being marred by technical difficulties that only lasted a few minutes, was the highlight of the entire time. I was out of it for most of the day Sunday after getting home (I left around 7:45 AM when it began to drizzle), and slept for several hours. My muscles are still sore from dancing so much. |

the music was incredible. i was expecting horror place to play much darker music than he did, but in a way i'm glad he didn't play as darkly as i had wanted for the sake of others. other than a couple sketchy parts of his set, it was worth much more than admission to see him. dj dragon is THE FUCKING SHIT! that man has some crazy skills, i would love to see him throw down a 4 hour set himself. i was really digging what gift culture was playing to open with, it just seemed very out of place with the mood of the party in its entirety. i had never heard josh meredith before, and i'm rather glad i stayed to hear his set, it was awesome. because of the fact that i was busy attending to other things, i was unable to really pay much attention to the other sets of the evening, but i'm sure i will get an oppotunity again soon enough. i met a lot of very interesting and very cool people up there. it seemed to be quite a different crowd than the last party, but the vibe was very much the same. it looked as if not a single person went that didn't have a blast. the deco kicked much ass, the sound was great, i got a new shirt (which i'm wearing right now) and a new cd which i'm totally loving. all in all, it was a fucking great night and i cant wait to do it again. btw, it was great to meet some shiva shakti guys, sorry i couldn't really talk (i really still have stuff to talk to you guys about) but i didn't feel as though i was in the right state of mind for even semi-intellectual conversation by the time the night was nearing the end and most my beer had gone through me. but like i said, you guys keep throwin these, and i'll keep people going. maximum respect to everyone who played any role in making this party go off. i cannot thank you guys enough for all the hard work and effort you guys put into this.

oh, and fuck tha police. i've no idea what those 2 or 3 cops thought they were gonna do to a group that big who had every legal right to be doing what we were doing. it was great to see them only stay long enough to watch us tear it up on the dance floor and realize they couldn't do shit to us. stupid pigs.

Never the less, I enjoyed getting to have the opportunity to play some good psychill on a loud soundsystem and I appreciate the fact that you were enjoying the tunes :^)

yeah, i had never seen you live before, so i was really interested to see you, and i was rather impressed. i'm fairly certain that was the first time i had heard downtempo like that live. i really enjoyed the amount of ragga sounding tunes you threw down.
