| LTJ Bukem @ Shade
Props to Fresco and Shade crew for a fun night!! Glad i took it ez, long weekend ahead. Jeremy nice groove to open w/ Adrian, wished I could have heard more, really enjoyed hearing you sir. LTJ and MC, not to shabby for my first go round hearing ya. awesome show saw ltj's buttcrack more times than i wanted to while he was bending over to grab rekords. pull your pants up sir.. not enough bass in the system. and everything in the mid/high range seemed to blend in. maybe its my hearing, but, at times it all just felt punishing in the mid/high range. bass was trying to reach out to me through a mish-mash of med-and-high swashy swashyness 2nd encore we got was FUCKING AWESOME! highpoint of the show for me. one of those fucking bouncers grabbed me harder than he needed to while i was trying to get my card signed by LTJ and conrad... i was like... that is absolutely not necessary... the world is not gonna end if you dont get all these partiers out of the venue in 10 minutes. fuck off. I had a great time!!! I finally got to see LTJ & MC Conrad & they tore it up proper!!  I was great seeing some peeps I havent seen in awhile as well.All right now I have to get back to work & try to stay awake for the next 8 hrs!!!!

Never seen shade packed like that, had an awesome time, big ups to fresco ....... i got in for free!! Ha ha bitches! On a sidenote, I had an awesome time aside from some grown up babies who would rather send their cronies to talk to me than just straight up say "Hey" or would rather grab a beer and SHOVE it across the bar to me in a weak ass attempt as saying "im sorry" I have never seen grown men act like such children. Regardless, it didnt keep me from having a great time. Looking forward to it again. Again, big ups fresco, kick ass party, you guys fucking rock!

very happy to finally get to see ltj and mc conrad live after listening to their records for a while now. totally lived up to expectations!! loved the energy of the crowd in such a small space on a weeknight. really enjoyed jeremy b's set with the sticky thick bass beats. who was MCing for him? lots of friendly faces and fun dancin' foo's!! thanks for the good times! my legs are sore today from jumpin around so much!! :-D |
