Sigur Ros @ Paramount Theater in Seattle

We got there around 7:45 and decide to have a drink. Well the bastards there at the theater wouldn't let you into the acutal theater with your drink. We had to fucking chug our drink and then go sit down. They also didn't let you have a camera which also sucked. I still took some pics of the show but the quality wasn't too good since I didn't want to use the flash. The opening band was pretty good but almost put me to sleep. They ended up also coming out with Sigur Ros and helping them out in their show. When Sigur Ros came out it was amazing. TT Boy was right and they did come out rocking. They had real cool stage effects that went well with their type of music. I was sitting there and thinking in between songs I hope they play track 6 of their new album and bam! They started playing the song. It was amazing seeing them perform that song live and that alone made the trip up here worth it. They played some stuff from their last album too which was even better. Stacey was all excited because they closed with her favorite track Untitled 8. Afterwards we waited forever to get a T-Shirt and then walking around downtown to find something to eat. Overall the show was amazing and Seattle is the perfect city for their type of music. Gloomy and Cold just the way I love it!

The Paramount is one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen. Perfect for Sigur Ros & thier sound. Awesome beyond awesome visuals to go right along with the tunes.

I don't think I've ever been to a more moving concert. During Vidrar vel til loftarasa they stopped for what seemed about 30 seconds & there was complete silence. The lead singer got all Frampton style during Svefn G Englar & sang into the guitar. And the encore. OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I didn't get completely emo & cry, but I got a little teary eyed during Untitled #8. It totally made it worth coming all the way up here.



If you ever get the chance, Jesus Hell Damn Christ, DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE TO SEE THEM LIVE.

my roommate is the sound tech for this tour and he says the shows have been really good. to bad they arent stopping by Dallas I would really like to of seen them this time around.
