Lance Cashion in Austin

I went to Austin this Saturday for Halloween and had an absolute blast. Toddy B and Lance Cashion played at Barcelona on 6th street, which is a really cool intimate bar with the perfect size dance floor. Most everyone was in costume, which made the party even more festive. Toddy B opened the night with some thick progressive and Lance Cashion closed with some rocky, progressive, funky house. Hanging with the Austin peeps was definitely a huge breath of fresh air. The overall vibe of the party was non-pretentious and respectful with everyone supporting each other in having a good time.
6th street was fun to browse as well with all the crazy costumes. If you have never been to Austin for Halloween, I definitely encourage you to check it out next year.

I was going to head out there Saturday afternoon, but got caught up doing something else. I think his next night at Barcelona is Nov. 19, so I'm gonna try to make it down for that one.

What up Lance! You were laying down some thick tracks. What's the name of that track that you played right after Thriller? My girlfriend doesn't like dance all that much, but she enjoyed listening to you, which says a lot. I have a lot pics from the party and I'll post them in a couple of days.

If you are talking about the track that I played after the original "Thriller", that was a Kasey Taylor track that was given to me a few months back. I don't have a name for it If is was the track after I played "Thrill-Her" (Thriller rmx) much later in the night. I have no idea what it was... as I was drunk.

I just found out last night that I have to go to a cousins wedding.. but, hopefully, I can squeeze out of there to take the quick trip.

nasty andy said he is supposed to go on the 19th, he said the show last week was pure sickness. made me jealous as hell. peter, lance, derreck under one roof.
