Irene @ LL....hot!

Johnny Funk, Sno White, and Irene were all right on! I've never heard Johnny play before and was quite impressed. He warmed up Irene very very nicely. Kind of wish I could have heard a bit more from him.

Irene stayed on until about 4:30 am after playing an encore and then signing some autographs. Crowd seemed very pleased with Irene's set.

Anyone else go?

ok first of all i will say that i only stayed for about 45 min after irene came on so i dont know how the rest of the night went. johnny funk did a good job of opening. irene blew. she is wasted and comes out blabbering with some drunk and (half)jokingly-angry-lesbian antics for seriously 10-15 minutes with no music, just her loud obnoxious voice and drunken evil cackle. thinking she is soooo awesome and shimmers in the limelight and everyone wants to listen to her drunk and rambling. you could tell the whole crowd was getting very anxious and wanting her to STFU. when she finally did play some tunes she started with the cheesy repetitive hardhouse and was stumbling around in the back looking for records (or something?), not even on the decks with her opening song, and not energetic at all, seemingly losing the whole crowd's attention span. she pissed me off and could not redeem herself this night because i had my hopes up and i have seen her in the past and loved her shows....on this night i felt like i was watching one of those "hairbands: alcohol, sex, scandal; how it all came crashing down" type of documentaries, she was very unprofessional and amateur, i even wonder if she's lost her passion for DJing or if this was just a bad night.....VERY bad.....i hope her other shows across the country arent as terrible

Irene does not pack clubs better than any other dj you are the one on drugs. Why dont you go plugg another roll and make some candy bracelets.

ya the place was ridiculously packed, im sure a good portion (majority possibly) were just as disappointed as i was. and "irene dont drink u noobs" thats probably one of the stupidest things ive heard in a while. ive seen her chug beers in 1 gulp at multiple shows. the reason she was drinking redbull, only, is because the bar had already stopped serving alcohol cuz she went on at 2am....hence: shes already drunk, duh. if you were booked at clubs as much as she is, do you really rationally think she would be sober every single weekend? hell no..she was being a fucking obnoxious blabbermouth, and was being self-absorbed and rude, telling one girl who was trying to take a picture with her "stand up bitch!". if she acts like that whenever she is sober, then i find that rather sad, and frankly disturbing.

wow are making yourself out to seem like u are just a relentless drama queen "dRaMa KiLLa." if she wasnt drinking than she was under the influence of something cuz she was way off. the club was packed because she has a reputation for throwing good parties, just because she has the rep. doesnt mean she is perfect, she is simply human and therefore capable of fucking up. and ya...i have seen her chug beers in 1 gulp. its not imaginary. dont say im wrong cuz u obviously didnt see it. just because her myspace account says she doesnt drink, woooo its like youve known her since you went to all girls school with her. and if you consider "rock out with your cock out" a quality track, especially to open her set with, then we are on very different levels and we obviously can't relate. calling someone a "noob" cuz they dont get between irenes legs and lick her _____ doesnt mean u should thrash people. i respect her im just voicing the experience i had from this night, which was very bad.
