Didn't get there until 3, but the tunes were of the dirty electro nature. It looked like meat katie was using a midi controller and maybe ableton, not 100% though.

Meatkatie was mixing cd's and the sounds were so dirty and so electro!!!!
But Mr Dylan Ryhmes tore the phunckin roof of the place.He was the one using abelton and a midi keyboard interface.I ve never seen him perform before and well I soooooo impressed.The crowed was light all night but I was talking to both headliners and they didn't seem to mind.So all in all was a great night!!!
Can't wait for the next one!!!

yea , I was blown away with dylan and his computer some mental stuff in there. Also im glad i got to finally see a extended Meat Katie set had loads of fun the whole night.

but man who was that meat bag dj before meat katie who decided to play techno anthems?!?!! Im not sure if you realize this but the djs playing after feed off the tunes and the energy the opening dj sets up and if you playing stuff that heavy and meat katie (whois the one we paid to see) plays breaks it makes it incredibly hard for him to go where he wants.

Glad i went.
It was actually the reverse for me,
I REALLY expected to be favoring dylan's set over meat katie's,
but i actually liked meat's better. A few songs in he played plump's blackjack, and after that, it was ON. Dylan played more electro than i was hoping, i figured it would be meat katie doing that shit. Don't get me wrong, dylan's my hero, i just expected more breaks from him.

I had a great night last night. Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes tore it up. Dylan was working Ableton Live. It was definatley cool seein some familiar faces. I can't wait till the next event.

Hey everone,

Thanks for coming out for the show. I know some of the Djs before the headliners came up were a different genre. We had intended for them to play out in the patio but the rained ruined that. Some of there fans had come to hear them and they brought their records and I felt I had to give them at least a little space. So we condensed all the times and let them play around. Meat Katie was having problems with the monitors all night and there was some feedback problems with the sound system. Most of his tracks were from his new upcoming cd "Vibrator" definetely a lot of experimentation. Dylan was great and they both were thankful for the great hospitality of Dallas and want to come back. Thank you so much for your support and be there for Filo and Peri April 15th at Seven.

My sentiments exactly,I just don't want the artist getting the wrong impression of Dallas-Ft Worth due to short promo time or other issues.

Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes both brought serious heat!!!

but....i'm with nitetripp on this one (usually he's full of it

). it seemed like this show got mentioned on ddm as a fluke a week and a half before the show when somebody saw a dallas date on MKs newsletter....which was the first I heard of it.

but good luck to the promoters in the future.... (and bring more breaks

)
