i didn't get to catch the show but i have their latest cd... it kicks ass. if you don't already have the new album you should definately pick it up. i was curious to see how they were going to top their last album, but they did it... no doubt.

Not me.

Yea I bought the CD the day it came out. I don't think it is a stong as thier other cd's. Aenima is still my fav.

it takes some getting used to but its a pretty deep album. read the reviews on amazon its interesting, 10000 days was the amount of time that maynard's mom lived as a paraplegic before she died recently or something and it brought her closer to God, maynard didnt see how that would be possible, "wings for marie" is saying that God better give maynards mom her wings because despite the path that her son chose, she was still a good person and the epitome of a Christian. theres other meaningful stuff, its really dark, of course, unlike a lot of hard rock and darker music nowadays i dont think many of the lyrics or themes are for shock value, i think this is how his life actually is it seems. kind of sad. some of their songs cant fully be comprehended also because i am pretty sure tool makes their songs to be better experienced while not sober.
