![]() | Opencloud @ Blue
Corey and Blake rocked it beautifully and they had a long set, about three hours +. First time in awhile that I've seen the local openers pack a dancefloor before 11pm on a night with a closer like Tiesto. I even got to kick some raver ass... so if you were one of those ravers with the glowsticks taking up half the dancefloor with your circle... that was me who got in the middle and broke that shit up so the rest of us who wanted to dance could have some room. Sorry if your fun got ruined but it's a club, not a field, and there isn't room in a packed club on a packed dancefloor to be twirling shit around and creating circles when people want to dance. by the end of Opencloud's set and Tiesto went on the entire club was packed and there was no room to move... we stayed for about another hour and then left and when we went outside we still saw a line around the corner... fucking insane if you ask me. Obviously Full Access wants to make money but since we don't have any huge clubs in Dallas... Blue is about as big as it gets... there really should be a limit on how many people they allow in so it doesn't get so unbearingly hot and packed so much you can't move. It'd be a lot more fun for everyone who is there who isn't so pillfucked that they don't notice. |

all these places are available. Full Access is pretty much top dog, so they call the shots. I hope they continue to do shows at Blue, for my money, there's not a better arena. I'm not sure if pillfucked people don't notice, or just don't care, but in the end you have to be kind of a dick if you want to have a good time. And the promoters HAVE to overbook. b/c the pillfuct people don't allow them to make money back at the bar, right? don't really see a solution for this one, except for promoters to go away, and the clubs themselves would start booking talent.

dear shamu and basketweaver, you know you could just ask them to stop, or move somewhere else. ohhh wait.....but then i guess you would actually have to get out of your caveman way of thinking and stop pushing and grunting for a second and actually be civil wouldnt you?? people like to have a good time in different ways, just because they do something thats not identical to the way that you would do it doesnt make it wrong, its just different, and ya, sometimes people forget to notice the overall space around them at clubs but its the same as the drunken idiot couple who is dancing all over the place, or some drunken sorority bitch who stomps on peoples toes and bumps into everyone within 10 feet of her. substances make people act differently, clubs make people act differently, people are different. until they actually do something to harm or disrespect you intentionally you shouldnt be a fucking dickhead to them because one day you are going to assume someone who accidentally bumps into you as a "PiLLFuCt person" and they are going to pulvarize your face. | ||

actually i would never ever be caught spinning glowsticks because ravers look retarded enough from an outside view and i would not contribute to it, but it is entertaining to see people who do this. i had some dude push me at a recent show because i was taller than him and "he couldnt see" (the dj), like it was a damn concert and not a dancefloor, and it made me want to slit his throat right there. and seeing your comment made me realize that people get mad and physical for stupid petty shit and it irritates the hell out of me
