Damn that was a show! Gift of Gab was a little off. I heard he was really sick. That explains we he couldn't keep up. Can't blame him though, no one can touch the speed he normally spits.

Miri Ben-Ari is that chick from the Twista video that plays Violin. She was pretty damn good. And then she got on the mic and started talking, and had the hottest accent ever. Yeah I think I'm in love.

I went primarily to see Blackalicious, but The Roots definately stole the show. They played a lot of classics. ?uest Love played some really sick drum solos with another percussionist on the congas/bongos. The last hour Ms. Badu came up there with them and just took it to another whole level! The DJ/MC's and the Dancers between acts were all on point too.

I never danced some much at a hip-hop show. Damn good exercise.

Yeah Em I just saw where you wanted to go. I didn't have tickets either, but I just went and got one scalped for $30.

the coolest part for me was on my walk up to the venue, ?uestLove hops out of an Expedition like 6 feet from me and i got to talk to him for a minute. talk about starstruck. had it been Black Thougt, i might have peed myself.

Sweet! I met Erica Badu at the end of the show by the side door last night, too! Real cool and down to earth. She drove her own ride too.

That was a great fuckin show. I loved when they played all those old Wu & ODB tracks, that shit was hot. The individual band member solo's are always the best part of those concerts because their guitarist is a fuckin bad ass. Damn that was great times and my ears are still ringing.
