Ralphie May @ Improv in Addison
Sunday night I went. Fun times. Good jokes. A bit vulgar for my taste, but funny nonetheless. Opening acts were good too. Tab was not so good, but that's expected at a comedy club.

I had never been to the Improv here and I do wish the place was set up more like a nice Comedy Club with intimate tables and booths in a theatre style setting, as opposed to a rented out spot in a strip center with cheap banquet tables and chairs set-up for a giant Bingo tourney.

(It was smokey too and I craved one a few times.)

Ralphie's funny though... much better than Kathy Griffin...

The last time I went... I was the "odd man out"... everyone else had a date. So they sat on one end of the 8 person table (they took up four seats)... I had to sit at the other end, with 3 guys.

2 of the guys were older... and there with a younger one, who was the nephew.

So, the younger one was going to Iraq. I felt really sorry for him.... and when he would talk to me, I would respond. I didn't want to be a bitch.

THEN... he started to DRINK... and DRINK... AND DRINK... he was SO DRUNK... and then he started to hit on me and kept talking... LOUDLY.... and wouldn't SHUT UP! I kept asking him to be quiet... the people around me asked him to be quiet... my friends got pissed because I was encouraging him... when in fact I was telling him to hush. I missed the whole freaking main act!

It was a really miserable experience. That fucking drunk guy ruined my night.
