I went and checked it out last night and it is sweet.

Just getting on the elevator is like walking in the club and they have an 8 - 10" speaker in there that is linked to the Dj booth up stairs, also I think the music playing down stairs is linked to the dj booth up stairs.
O and they were playing house music

I've never seen so many fine fine ladies and my god the view of Dallas is awesome.

think its average at best, but to each his own. the 33rd floor is cool, but the sour apple, grey, and white, color scheme is not that great.

Last time I was at Seven it was predominately a gay mens club.

People seemed cool to me.

They were dressed up, but it's that kind of place, So I'm not sure if there was a code but a person would stick out like a sore thumb if they were dressed down.

I on the other hand was still dressed in my work clothes (slacks, and button up company shirt) and I didn't feel comfortable.

Ehh I hate beeing in my work clothes at a club.

The spot looks nice from what I saw on Tv. What was up with the Dj doin all the Itchy Scratchy stuff though? I think if people want to hear all that Itchy Scratchy stuff the can 1)got to LL to hear BBB, or 2) go to any one of many weekly to hear a number of Dallas' turntablist do that.
Also what type of clientele are they looking for? I love house music and am a fiend for the next big tunes on a daily basis, however not really sure if people that frequent a hotel bar in this city a)have any idea what there hearing other than TECHNO, and b)would frequent a place like that and not be able to hear anything recognizable. Also I've heard that they brought in one of their Dj's from Vegas. If this is true, and please don't take me wrong with this, that is a HUGE mistake. Nothing against him who ever he is, however it really should be an established Dj with a proven track record. One who knows this city well and what it takes to make a club work in Dallas. My 2cents. I was offered a residency there and I turned it down. Nice place, but they wanted me to play hip-hop & top 40.

Thats the color scheme at the Westin here in Frisco. It makes me think I am in the looney bin.
