i kind of got there late.. so i didnt catch all the dj's that went on before midnight..

croud was kinda cool actually.. even for the LL . and i hate the LL .. but its ok .. i guess..

Tonight was definately off the hizz-ook. I'll admit I didn't dig BT's set before the rain, and rather went and saw Kid Icarus/Kai spin, and I wasn't even into the first half of of his set after the rain, but when he threw down those last 3 tracks, the ones he's known for, that was plenty for me.

Good party. I am soaked to the bone though. When everyone ran for the door, I ran for the sound system. They had like 3 or 4 people trying to save a $250,000, two story, incredibly freakin loud sound system So I jumped in and did what I could. Soon, we had like 15 to 20 cool ass party kids, who paid to have fun and enjoy the show, working their ass off for half an hour in the middle of a monsoon for the sake of the promoters. It was unbelievably cool!! I had on a blue NYPD shirt so I guess people thought I was in charge or knew something about what we were doing, but I was in the same boat as yall. It was really quite amazing though! All you who jumped in and said screw the rain and 50 mph winds deserve a great big Hellz Yeah!! Especially the little girl in the white tank top with no bra, who stayed till the end even though you could tell it made her feel kinda uncomfortable walking around exposed to everyone. It reminded me that there are still people out there with that old school "all for one, one for all" attitude.

Awsome job on the venue. Even though tonite it was the lounge on steroids, the venue is so much better than the bronco bowl for throwing massives. I really hope that it can be used again after everything that happened.

Anyway, Jeremy ROCKED THA FUCKIN HOUSE!! KAI, did too even though its a little too hard for me. BT sounded good, but I never really got to into it. Thats all I really saw. Anyways, I gotta go hang my pants and boxers out to dry and get some sleep.

all i have to say is lizard lounge was off tha fucking hook tonight. . . .i had a great time in every room i went (struggled) to get through...lol..tons of people...hot as hell...tight ass fucking music. ...but a hell of a good fucking time

and the set of the night 'by far'.. goes to tim skinner. he had a really different sounding progressive and his track selection was perfect. his mixing was next to flawless with the exception of 1 or 2 mixes that were off for maybe a second then fixed. it was strange i hadn't heard of him before.. oh well now i do, he's definately worth seeing again. now i know why BT wear's his "i'm still not a dj" t shirt.. its because he cant really mix. he dropped dope tracks from what i heard of him but he was sloppy every.. it would get off on almost every track i heard.. BUT he would fix things quick.. but i didn't really expect that from him.. because he's such a big name. but he had the crowd going.. and i guess did good considering he's not known for spinning. THE dnb room was off the hook all night. what i caught of titan's set was fucking dope, and all the covert op's dj's threw down proper. i bounced during monk's set.. he was droppin some ugly shit. it might have gotten better but i dont know. all in all this was the most fun i've ever had at the lizard lounge. very spatious until the rain started.. in conclusion.. connect was a phat ass party, and it was good seeing everyone.

Wow!! I had an incredible time. The lounge looked awesome with the back all opened up. That system out back sounded kick ass! I got out of my car around the block and was jamming in the parking lot!

I don't know who was on before BT, but I liked him. Good set. Atleast what I heard of it. I spent some time in the video bar finally getting more acquainted with dnb and must say I am in love. All my usual friends don't like it and always drag me to another room. Covert Ops threw down and snagged my heart. Titan, Katalyst, Chrisko. Thank you for a great night!

Checked BT out in the beginning of his set and wasn't feeling it. Went in and danced my ass off to Jeremy's set. Do I have to tell you he threw down a good one? I think not. *wink*

Went back outside and this time BT was doing better. I liked what he was playing and was dancing and loving every minute of the lightning overhead. But, knew that would have to come to an end. I love rain and don't like being cattled in, so Kitty and I decided to wait for everyone to get inside before we tried.

Bwahahahahahahaha!!! That fuggin rain was COLD! It felt good though. I was soaked. The rain was starting to hurt me, getting in my eyes, and stabbing my back and arms. So we started to join the fight to get in. And was it ever a fight! Made it in, danced another 10 lbs off in the video bar.

Finally I left around 2am. Wished I could have stayed longer, but I was up early and was tired. I also had about an hours drive home....which ended up being an hour and 1/2 due to traffic on I-30. UGH! Caught the last of BT's set on the Edge and must admit he started to throw down some good shit at the end.

Thanks to the asshole cop who was in a bad mood and mumbled about something the whole way, but agreed to walk little ole' me to my car around the other side of the club since I was leaving alone. Hey....you gotta be safe. I didn't want to get mugged or raped or anything.

On another note.... thanks to the kids who helped with the sound system when it started to rain. My first thought was to run to Merritt who was standing not too far from me and ask if I could do anything to help. Then I had the stupid thought, that nah, they probably don't want someone like me helping. I don't know anything about this shit. They have ppl to do it. Oh well.... I guess I know if it every happens again that I can offer my help and it will probably be accepted.

Thanks to Prototype for throwing this party. I agree 100% that it is much better than the BB! I HATE BB!!!!!!!!!

BT is NOT trance... (well he has a few trancy tracks that he has produced) mostly he goes to breaks and some progressive shit... but i think his mixing was awesome... and yes he's not a DJ


... I heard one trainwreck and one time he was just a little off but all he had to do was just play with it a little and it would be back on... I don't think i would have expected any more because he's not a DJ and in my personal opinion he was pretty damn good for not being a DJ...


... I was disappointed that he only was on for a little over an hour and then he left... which is not surprising...

... overall i enjoyed myself despite all the chaos and mass confusion... and i think it was worth all the trouble just to hear BT... even if it was only for an hour...



... Big Up the local crews for throwin down inside, i heard one great set after another (especially in the video bar... covert ops rules all!) And the main room was pretty tight from what i saw... everyone was awesome...

I must say the people at the ll last night were fucking awesome. even though we were all very cramped and hot everyone still had a good attitude. i got there for about 30 minutes before bt went up and whoever was spinning was fuckin the shit up. dance circle started in the middle of the room. that is something i havent personally seen in awhile. anyways he kicked my ass for a solid half hour. BT.....he sux......just my humble opinion. i think i fell asleep during his "set". And then MOnk came on. did any else see the cartoon at the beginning? i laughed so damn hard. that shit was funny. Monk never has dissapointed me. he allways come readdy to through down. Nuff said.

Tight AZZ party. Big propz to Covert Ops for yet once again throwing down DnB in dallas proper. I was getting into BT when the rain started. Man that sucked. I managed to make it for the outside through the ain room and somehow ended up at the door and decided i may as wll leave. wanted to stay for Monk, but didn't get to. Hope he rocked it.

Well... for me... the BEST SET of the night... came from MERRITT!!!

The last time he moved me like that... was when he spun after Frankie Bones... way back when. He was really ROCKING it last night!


The guy on after Merritt was decent... but forgetable... BT was... not exciting either. I was just having fun hanging out with everyone and chatting.

When it started to rain... I knew it was going to be hell... and it was. I just went to the "kitchen" area of the club... and sat there could I find Trent... then we left around 3:00.


If it hadn't rained (?? I wonder why they didn't get a tent set up when they heard that the forecast called for rain??) it would have been PHAT! Being outside on the parking lot was really bad ass.


BTW... I would like to close with this... a club can be awesome... when AWESOME people pack the place. Good music and cool people make a club wonderful.

I had fun last night. It took me a while to get use to the monitors again in the Video bar. It started off really rocky when the cd player started skipping for no reason and i couldnt really control the monitors but i found my groove and it was alright. Had to keep it a lil on the vocally side since thats what everyone was feeling at the time. All in all it was a fun night and i cant thank you enough for all the support. On behalf of the entire covert ops crew...THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!

PS Screw the bartender who blew me off and rolled his eyes when i was trying to ask him a question about the sound. All he had to tell me is the amps are no longer behind the bar. I thought it was rude and completely uncalled for...

damn, last night was bad ass! When I first got there, there was NO DRUM AND BASS and I didn't know what to do with myself, so I walked around until Merritt got on outside, and I decided I would check him out...WOW! I really got into it there for a little bit (surprisingly enough!) THEN, went in the video bar for some dnb from Titan....shiit! He played some tight ass tunes (as usual). I missed the last half of his set to go to the meet up...and all I have to say about that is DAMN! There were some TIGHT ass (and FINE ass too, meow) dravers at the LL last night. I met TONS of people, don't remember a SINGLE name(but groove2169 OMFG, can you BE any more sexy? you and all your friends to! SHIT!)...haha...but, it was bad ass! Oh, and Sarah P <~~~guys LOOK OUT for her, she is beautiful!
I went back inside to catch the COVERT OPERATIONS crew tear the place up! Fuggin Chrisko throwin down all the vocal tracks he could put his hands on....No complaints though! Then the fuckin Katalyst got up and threw down some harder shit (too bad the video bar system isn't that great)....but, he kept my ass shakin his whole set....I left around 2:15, so I didn't get to hear Gammah tear the place up (damn it all!)....but, I heard lots of great tunes, the people there were rockin and I got a bad ass FREE parking space...the rain cooled me off as I slowly walked back to my car....the sauna in the Video Bar had me drenched in sweat, so the rain felt NICE! I saw like 238473298473 wrecks on 35, but made it home safe and sound!
