DJ Love's Birthday Bash @ Lizard Lounge
Damn, dude. It's almost like we got the gift instead of you, man. 6 turntables worth of massive mixing, scratching, and cutting. We had B-boy hodown 1234567890 in one corner while the rest of the groovers were moving it closer to the DJ booth.

I don't know what prompted you all to play "Papua New Guinea", but that was a damn cool moment.

The job that Manny did for bringing out the classic cuts shouldn't go without mention, either. Well up until Frank and friends showed up, he had the crowd hype. The come down after the set was pretty stellar as well.

All in all, between the faces I hadn't seen in a while and the music which I had always wanted to hear IN A CLUB, I had a wonderful time.

Thanks to all involved and again, happy birthday, DJ Love!

Man..... You guys TORE IT UP last night!!! Awesome show! THAT'S how it should be done every weekend. Thanks again for getting this party together Frank and another Happy B-day week to ya! Big ups to Manny for tearing it up too, old school style, for the late night. You know it's definitely a night to remember when your boy Rufus dances so hard that he rips a hole in the crotch of his jeans for the second time.

Frank, Neptoon, and Diverse were very impressive....I relistened to the set this morning....It was just as good the second time around!......

All in all a very fun time!
