So....did Danny Howells ever show up?

I get to Seven at 11:30pm and notice signs on the doors saying that "due to flight delay out of Chicago, Danny may not start his set till 2am", despite being skeptical about Danny actually still arriving in Dallas to play at Seven by 2am , I figured I'd enjoy listening to Kean play even if Danny doesn't show up. The cover was $10 at the door. Kean totally rocked the place the entire time I was there from 11:30pm to 2:30pm...still no sign of Danny at 2:30pm, still I had an incredible time and the crowd there was totally into Kean's set which was non-stop track after track of energizing music , hard to imagine how much better the experience would have been even if Danny showed up, that's just a compliment to how good of a job Kean was doing last night. Although I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see Danny, still had a good time because of how well Kean was playing.

Yeah he went on around 3 and played till 4:15. Your right though Kean played a bad ass set but Danny worked magic the little time he was there. It was worth the wait. Kind of sad we only saw him for an hour though.

Hey Dallas people.
I just came here to give you my sincere apologies about last night's VERY late appearance.
My 2.50 flight out of Chicago was delayed for hours, then eventually cancelled due to bad weather (ie a spot of rain!) I was then put onto the 8pm flight, but that mofo was delayed until 11.20!
So, I ended up being in Chicago airport for ten hours, bored out of my fooken head and not sure if I was even gonna make it to Dallas.
But I did, and it was worth it completely. The short time I had in the club more than made up for all the airport crap, and I hope I can reschedule another gig soon where I can play a PROPER set!
Thankyou for everyone who was still there when I showed up, and to everyone involved with the club for helping to make the best of a bad situation.

i had a great time. the waiting sucked, but what can you do? weather is weather.

thanks danny for a very nice short set. the shortest i think i've ever heard from you in a live setting. you did an excellent job of cramming the best for what time you had.

i sincerely hope you get to come back and soon. quite honestly, i think your return set should most definitly be one of your open to close marathon sets. both you and we, as your fans, deserve it.

Kean did a fantastic job! He had the entire place exploding . I had a great time dancing my ass off.

Danny delivered for the time allowed. It's just not the same as one of his marathon sets...come back & deliver one of those please!

Last night was AMAIZING!! First and foremost I would like to thank everyone who came out and enjoyed the night. The vibe was CRAZY!!!!! I had a blast playing for you guys. Thank you. You guys were really into the music and got me pumped. It was good to finally meet some of you.

i have to really give it up for you kean. to be able to work it the way you did was pure class. i know how it can be being mentally prepared for 2 hours then having to open it up on the fly til who knows when.

i thought you did great building it during the peak hours.

my friend stated, this is like old school seven. that's a huge accolade coming from him.
