FREE, Outdoors, Huge Projections with Video synced to Spooky, Diverse set, All ages present, Walked there from my hotel and then on to 6th Street, smoked out in the park. Ahhhh, Austin.

last friday night, the 29th. he was promoting some dj culture book he's got out as well.

i heard about that dma show, it was sponsored by starbucks, but i think evol intent or something along those lines was that night..

lol, that's because it wasn't a rave-on event. it was a museum event for one of their monthly late nights.

i read a review on his book several months ago in artforum. its supposed to be pretty good and it even has a companion cd! lol

I would have liked to go to this. I couldn't have made it to Austin last weekend anyways though. I did hear about the DMA event though. I have a few friends that went.

didn't make it to austin, but saw him at dma during springtime.

i saw josh-m & jamie & jd there. it was good times.

all ages. like 15 little kids on the mini-parquet dancing their booties off.

my daughter was happy playing in the kids area till she heard parliment & she made a beeline.

the video mixing was outstanding. if i was going to bring a national act to dallas it would be him. not enuf ppl at dma & they only let him play for like 1 hour & 1/2.
