wow what a night!! best party I've been to at the lounge in a looong time. the only other time I've seen him was at last years Ultra festival. Carl Cox was great, Mark Lewis was surprisingly good(I say surprisingly only because I hadn't heard him before) and the LL was very full. Also, apparently I'm available as a boyfriend-for-rent for attractive women when over-eager Columbian men decide they need to get freaky with the 'spoken for' women while their S/O is off buying them drinks. This kind of shit never happened when I was single. Maybe it's good kharma for getting Karen some really nice flowers yesterday. Anyway, a very well-done event by Prototype/Full Access, as usual. It speaks to the quality of their events that you expect this level of effectiveness instead of hope for it. Thanks to Joel and his eminently boneable wife for putting up with me; thanks to Matt Meyer for showing me that there's always a bigger recluse than me; thanks to Travis for reminding me why I exercise; thanks to the whores in the upper deck of the dance floor for making me feel like a dirty old man; thanks to Jayson Gold for letting me cut in line; and thanks to Sean Sparks for raiding Andy Szontagh's wardrobe, because without you I wouldn't have had the zinger of the night.

that mixer was fucking the sickness. one of the better events i've been to in awhile. both mark and carl ripped it. nice to put some faces to some screen names finally! off to bed now

shit was amazing from start to finish. mark lewis  seriously, that guy had my jaw on the floor. good to know we'll be seeing more of him in the months/years to come. this guy covered the gamut from straight up banging and funky techno to some funky and banging house tunes. had me moving the whole time.carl cox... what can I say. this was my first time to see him and I'm glad to say that the wait was totally worth it. good to see a lot of peeps out that I haven't seen in a while. and this time I remember  bed time now. |
