222 was started in San Antonio by Drew (Solti) John G (Soundbwoy), John R (J rose), and a fella named Zack (Virture). it went really well for awhile in san antonio. I became a part of it while still at school in College station and other people in San Anotone, houston, dallas, became more involved. After i moved to dallas, drew and i were going down there once a month (or more) to help promote and play at the weekly show with the others who lived in San antone.

So after a bit, people started getting married and moving away from san antonio and it became too difficult to run a weekly show in a city where nobody lived. we all continued doing stuff on our own and a few shows here and there together, but it just slowly passed on to it's legendary status.

now, drew and john live in houston (for which drew is getting married in a few weeks for those who know him) Zack is in california at last i heard and the other john and various other affiliates are still in their respective locales including here, S.a and houston
