What a night!

...showed up around 10pm and there was already 250 people in the club, who knows how many it can hold...maybe 600 or more!

EAW soundsystem, amazing view of downtown, glass floor on one of the balconies, crazy-hot bartenders, even the ladies in the crowd had me thinking I was at a Mavs game!

Wade opened, and played a great set of electro-rock, some popular remixes and some more abstact but all went together very well. It was nice to hear something other than house. It was all dancable stuff (4/4, breakbeat), but had a nice rock feel to it.

JT played a hella-dope set filled with 80's classics (not newwave, more like the dancable rock stuff) and a little house/electro, and some stuff on the DFA tip...

Steve was awesome! I don't listen to crunk music, but when its mixed in with breaks, daft punk, rock, retro, classic hip-hop, etc then its fine with me, cuz it had ALL the ladies dancing! Steve was cutting and scratching like a freakin' ninja and I just couldn't stop laughing at the fact that he looked like:

COBRASNAKE!

There was a nice group of house-heads there, keeping it real as best we could (there really isn't a dance floor). The line to get in was ridiculous, Shiner's cost $8, everyone was dressed in black, but other than those expected differences it was a great experience and I'm glad I went!
