Show was dope as fuck! The venue was pretty cool. No smoking inside FTL. A real soundboard at an EDM show oh my! Low end was a little heavy before concord dawn which made for some pretty noticible distortion for a while but.. eh.
DD threw it down as always.
Dead PA rocked my fucking socks for real. tbh.. i dont like the female vocalist at all. I could really only get in to it when she shut up but DAMN when i was able to get into it, it was fucking awesome. They are by far the most fun live pa act ive seen in a loooooong time. The walk remix was one of the coolest ideas ive seen come around in a while. And to throw in some black sabbath as well! Choice.
Concord dawn was fucking AWESOME. Just pure and simple. Im sad that both of them werent there but fuck it. Still a great night. LOADS of great tracks. I danced the entire time. Britney spears toxic remix made me laugh my ass off. A whole bunch of "hardcore" junglists stompin around to a pop diva. omg wit teh funnay.
Speaking of stomping, i seriously felt as though we were going to fall through the floor at a couple points. Shit was kinda scary.
Oh yeah, and aside from the 5 pantera tracks i heard all night long by all the bands put together, it wasnt much of a "tribute" show.
Either way, i dont give a shit. This was one of the most fun nights out ive had in a looong time.

I think 5 Pantera tracks is about 5 more Pantera tracks than you'd usually hear during a D&B live PA and dj set.

*shrugs*

I wish I would have went instead of going to Oaklahomo and blowing all my money. Least I would have got drunk and listen to some music.

Yeah i forgot to mention that. The guy that was doing most of the work in the beginning was kind of a dick. I sat there staring at him for a good 4 minutes waiting to buy cigarettes while he talked to his friend and read a magazine. He kept looking at me so i know he noticed me.
Then when trying to buy drinks it would be at least 10 minutes before i got one if i was on the left side of the bar.

Thank yall for all the peeps who made that drive. I had a blast! Thanks for bringing the dd415 to the atx. that was the first time parish has had a dnb show. i love that place. sorry the bar wasnt up to par.

i had a great time. evan and dead pa killed it and the venue was sweet as shit. was the fist time we actually had to show up for a sound check. didnt notice the slowness of the bartenders cause me and koteki killed a bottle and a half of knob creek before the show. and yes........lone star for breakfast the next day. thank you austin, tx for showing up and much props to the dallas peeps that made the trip. till next time.
