Okay, so I planned on having an early evening last night, and just dropped by Moosh to see JV and Timmers and pick up my new earplugs. . . Music was flawless as usual, and the earplugs fit like gloves, so I took it a sign to break em in.

Ran over to Zubar next for a great set from N:Train. . .

Then ran over with the gang (Dallas-homie, atthelovein, Gator, Sarah, new grrrrl from toronto who rocks!!) and saw BUMP! IT WAS PACKED AND GROOVIN!! Whoooo-hoooooo was it a night! Turnaround, Paul, Daddy J w/ a TRUMPET PLAYER!! WOW! What a night!

Damn Adrian... the way you were shakin it last night... you must be hurtin. I had such a blast last night, and I too was anticipating a "basic" night of good tunes and lil bit of socializin. But yet again, I left Orchid dripping in sweat, I mean, Liquid PLUR!!! That new girl from Toronto's name is Bezee and that was her first night out in Dallas... a mighty fine introduction to the Dallas scene I must say!!! I could have done without the 4 guys drooling over Sarah... but I can't deny it kinda feeds my ego a little, ok, a lot. I'll be damn sure to bring Bezee out to Orchid Thursday night to witness a Thin Thursday. And that cd you let me borrow is FUKKING INSANE!!!!

I can't believe that great hectic crowd last night! We strolled in at 1 AM, laughing the whole way to the bar in the car that we'd be the only people out at 1 in the morning in Deep Ellum! HA!

Place was perfectly packed - not too tight, not too loose.

The horn player was fantastic. The music was great. I ordered a bourbon and coke and that was 99 parts bourbon and 1 part coke! WooHOO... ughhh.... *hangs head in hungover stupor and passes out under desk*

Met a nice woman named Amy with the Delladanza group - we chatted a bit - nice woman. Saw lovein - and that's about it for people I knew.

Awesome tuseday night - now if I can only get thru today b/c tomorrow I'm off!!

Yeah, last night was pure insanity!! So much fun!!!! I was dancing from the moment I walked in the door, until it was time to call it a night. John-I actually made if for your set You really got everbody groovin'. And of coarse, Paul's set was great as always. I was about to leave when i noticed the trumpet player setting up. I just had to stay!! Daddy J was phenomenal as well.

john, tabby, shawna, adrian, david, beezee yall are the best. i had so much fun sweating with you guys last night. woo hoo. i made it through the whole night without falling off my shoes. my mom would be so proud.

I was glad to hear Daddy J drop that new Lance Desardi track on Lowdown. That record is so damn tight. What old 70's rock song does that sample? C'mon, I know there are some old fuckers on here that should know.
