| Texas Freedom Festival
The Texas Freedom Festival in Austin on Saturday night, was worth every bit of my $5. It was so hot, but no one or nothing could help that. I really liked the fact that they let you bring in your own water, and that there were in and outs until 9pm, that's more than most promoters ever think of doing. The way the line-up worked was a little weird, it would go from progressive house to drum and bass in the same tent, and that just didn't sound right. But the vibe was there, for the most part. There's always your share of bad apples, but I didn't let them spoil my time. Let me know what you guys think about it, I'm interested to know. By the way I was the one who had long red hair, a white shirt wiht silver starts on it, and I was wearing a ton of bracelets. And I was the one who loved to be on the dancefloor in the front of the Dj all the time when the music was right. -It's sounds like a broad description, but if you saw me, than you would know who I am. p.l.u.r. kednra |

Rx called me on his way home... he and Eric Hanson spun 12-1 (Rx) and 1-2 (Eric Hanson) on their stage (Tx stage?). Rx said the party went off! That the vibe was amazing... and that even though it was hot as hell in their tent... they had a couple of hundred around to hear their sets. I wish to heck I could have gone! I stayed home to promote at the Bronco Bowl... only to be told I couldn't. So... while all my friends were having an awesome time... I was at home washing clothes (Trent was at FLOW spinning fire all night, and promoting). He also said that the Warped Brothers were bad ass!

The party was great. I must say that Rx had a badass set. The cd that he was handing out is also amazing. I can't wait to hear more from him. Sure the party was hot in the main room, but the tents outside were all right. Anyways, we were glad we made the trip down there.

It was absolutely worth the $5. It was actually the best party I've been to in a long, long time. People were friendly, it was pretty etard free, and hot as hell. Eric's set was really good, certainlyone of the best sets I've heard from him. I got there around 11pm-11:30pm and left around 3am, so I didn't get to hear too many dj's, but nonetheless, I got to witness the Warp Brothers. Fucking bad ass set. We need more parties like that around Texas.

wow! for only 5 bucks too! All who didn't go,really missed out!! The warp brothers 3 hour set alone paid for that party 5 times fold!! Not to mention that Dallas' own Eric and RX were abso-fucking-lutely amazing! Flawless!! now on the other hand : 1.hot as hell (only 2 doors open in the main room) 2.In the beginning the talent was scarce in the main room. 3.The sound was all fucked up all around! But all in all definatley worth the trip and the 5 bucks! plus great to see all the d-ravers out there representing! P.S.-I'm gonna post later about a FREE PARTY going down on the 20th in Temple, TX(half hour south of Waco)!!!! Alot of Austins talent and me the lone dallas kid! get ready all!!!!! -me

The party was awesome. What can I say, Eric, Eric, Eric. He ripped a new one for everyone! His set was BADASS. Whoo hoo! As far as the party in general, it was too hot so we left around 3 or so. Got to see the the Warp Bros, who definitely kicked ass. All in all I had an excellent time.
