CJ's sat. night

this was my first time going to the place. and to be honest, when i first walked in.... i was not thrilled. there were not very many people there. Then cary started to spin. ( RAGMAN) and he blew that fuckin place up. THe crowd picked up also. We went till 7 in the morning just dancing our asses off. THen it was off to some after party at this new bar that will be opening in 2 weeks. Ragman brought his records there and so did some other people and they just threw down at this bar. very nice! if you are looking for a good time late sat. nights. you should check out CJ's.

Is CJ's in Garland?? Some guy I work with was telling me about a place out there, and I swear he said CJ's.

There hasn't been an after hours like this for quite some time! It's a good mix of people. There aren't too many people all sitting around being f'd up, but if that's your thing there's plenty going around. Really good vibe. I've been all three times that they've had it and I'm not disappointed yet. I think they'll be doing it every other weekend so people won't get too burned out on it. Plus Cary (Ragman) has a busy DJ schedule (awwww). He's the main DJ there, but he shares the tables with a few of his friends (isn't that sweet?) so that they can get some play. They're pretty good too. And it's a good place to meet up with your friends and go the early hours after party if you're not exactly up for going to church. Everyone should come check it out. I always have flyers at my bar (at Area 51) or you can PM me and I'll give you the info.

IM sorry but that place sucks. its a pool hall.. and its way out in bum ----- egypyt. Ragman is a great dj dont get me wrong but after clearing down town at 4 am who wants to drive 35 minutes to the after party. i reccommend al-almir where Jimbo is just as good as ragman. ps ten minutes from down town and alot nicer club..

ummm if you go right down gaston you will run right into cjs... thats only like 15 min. of driving... also... yeah al-amir is pretty cool too.... i went there sat. night. But left and went to cents. a new bar that will be opening soon.

we've done the after hour thang already at CJ's...it was called XS and everyone was too apathetic to come out and support it...

OMG.......thanks for saying that! I was going crazy wondering if that was the pool hall or not!
I didn't want to ask and then everyone think i was stupid if it wasn't.
that place would be cool if it didn't have a bunch of trashy drunk people in it. last time i went, which was about 3yrs ago, i saw @ least 4 fights break out
i don't know how after hours are there cuz i've never been, and i'd love to go to hear Ragman spin, but the clientel there scares me.

cj isn't doing after hours anymore. he didn't know what he was getting himself into. he even said no more djs at carson's excepmt that one crappy guy.

You are right. I did cj's for a while. He doesnt know what an "after party" entails. At least he knows now.

I wasn't down with the crowd (most of it) or the venue. DJ selection isn't too bad though. I'll just hit up Area 51 to see ragman!

Yeah I remember that place.

Its a big freakin pool hall and thats pretty much it.
Wouldve been nice if Matt's idea had taken off.
