well i guess i can eat my words now. i was really skeptical about seeing this guy but my friends drew and rob convinced me to go. went with an open mind and GODDAMN THAT MAN TORE IT UP!!!! i wasn't expecting this guy to make me wanna dance at all but i must say i was completely surprised! i doubt anyone on here was even there but i guess if he ever comes to town he's definetly a must see... and yeah i think hyperia is the best club i've been to in TX...

actually i'm kinda getting tired of the head-banger trance...all it makes me think of is a huge G'd out Area 51 crowd... i still love hardcore and always will... i'm just steering away from the lizard lounge trance and learning about some new shit... Stanfield --actually i had never heard anthony pappa before friday...so i really didn't know what to expect...i'm so glad i decided to go!!

The Lizard Lounge trance you are referring to... is MY guys. Honestly... most of my guys play the freshest tracks.. that are NOT cheesy. Cheesy trance is bad... good trance... is awesome. I know you missed my guys in the Main Room... but it was a solid night of awesome trance... with tracks that are not total cheese. Anyhoo... just gotta stand up for my guys. There is a time and place for all genres of music. Chilling is good... and deep is good... and sometimes... just all out fun is good too.

| Pappa is off the hook
pappa played for an amazing 3 1/2 hours, great set, kinda like the sasha and dig set at the BB. He never played the downtempo prog, he layed it down with some progressive( Fortier style) and then after about an hour or so played some pretty solid progressive trance. Never seen him play that before, was on 3 or 4 the whole night, then about 30 min before he got off he started showing off, beat juggling and trowing all kinds of loops in, amazing man, the GU guys are so good, their mixing is rediculous.
