 | George Acosta at Fire???
Ok since i stayed in cali i figured i would be the first to post in the reviews...only asking how the show went. i got tons of texts and videos from you. looked like it was slammin! questions to be answered please: -how was the video bar? -how was dylan, frankieboy & ragman? -did george play any classics? how was his set? did he have fun? details! -the fire go gos look hot as always? -how was attendance? were people able to dance? -any drama? -anyone notice that as much as people hate on the lounge, many of its shows are doing well and it has become a must for big name djs to play again when they come to dallas? -how was the girl to guy ratio? i hate it when i can't come to one of my shows, but wmc is less than 3 weeks away and we have lots of production and promotion to handle. thanks to all who came out less than a week later to tear it up at fire. i'm still trippin over that infected mushroom show. there's a great video on the lizard lounge myspace page! party on dallas...see you at the march 16 utah saints show for the wmc pre-party.

It was an awesome show. Mr. Acosta rocked it like he did the last time I saw him. A pretty good crowd showed and as far as I could tell, it was a pretty chill night, at least me for me. Frankieboy, Ragman and Dylan all rocked the house. The vid bar became quite crowded for a while. I am always amused when a circle occurs for breakers during a trance set. I captured some good pics.  I cant wait to view them, but I must first get through this evil part of my day called work. Props to you Steve and all the others that assisted with Fire. Once again, Fire kicked ass and rockin music was to be heard throughout the night.

Over all Great tunes, Great Atmosphere, other than the minor sound trouble the Lounge was having, 1/2 of the sound went on and off randomly *only a few times* but Big John figued it out. I'm sad i missed you steve, i would have loved to hang out with you again! but soon!! See u in May (hopefully)

Geeze Steve..... no "special thanks to Binx for giving me updates on stuff going on......." ?!?!  I concur with everything Dylan said. It was also my first time hearing George live. I've been listening to his music for a long while now so it was especially cool experience for me to actually watch him work his magic. I was either directly up in front of the stage or standing on the left side dancing. The crowd definitely enjoyed George's performance & the level of enthusiasm remained high throughout his set. There wasn't a dull moment in those 2 hours. Dylan.... I hope you had an awesome birthday my friend! You played an awesome set & you were totally playing off the vibe of the crowd & it was obvious that they loved what you did & how you did it. I love how you're always enthusiatic & upbeat. Noelle...... man..... you rocked the Video Bar bro....... your mixing seemed flawless...... crowd vibe was awesome...... the girls dancing in front of the booth......  ...........SnoWhite....... chica...... love your music....... love your style........ love your enthusiasm...... love how you managed to keep the crowd going the throughout your entire set.......  JThisJustN:........ first time hearing you spin man....... definitely liked what I heard!Thank you to everyone for coming out! |

i was a bit worried at first. its sucks to have great djs like subuteo play when there's hardly anyone there. but...sure enough people started showing up. frankieboy was aaiiiight...lol...dylan blew me away with his first track!!!....awesome set as usual. rocking the house. i was exxxtremely impressed by noelle, his sets are always good but lastnight the guy rocked the video bar like crazy!!!...that shit was great!!! good job noelle. the other djs were awesome they ALL did a great job! the video bar managed to stay busy most of the night. thanks to all who played in there last night. i always enjoy ragman's sets. too bad there were a couple of technical difficulties. it's been a while since i've seen ragman play at the lounge. cool cat. around the time dylan was finishing up and ragman was getting ready to play, the main room was pretty packed. right on schedule steve. im gonna go ahead and say i didnt enjoy george acosta's sets last couple of times he was at the lounge. BUT!!!!!!!....last night, he played a damn goood set. amazing shit just like all the fire show headliners. he got with what seemed to be a new remix of tiesto's lethal industry...wow...play some old school tracks as well. the guy was banging it there towards the end. loved it. and closing the night, snowhite was fucking amazing..playing some hard stuff that reminded me of when i first started playing at the lounge. that girl rocks!!!!...she kept people there till the end. which doesnt happen all the time. everyone did a great fucking job!!! there were aloooot of gorgeous women there, steve you missed out!. the go gos were looking their best as usual. you didnt even had to ask that question. heather and sahar are the shit!!!!!.....no trouble. well....nothing serious atleast. we had some W.S.P. promoters come out to support all the way from austin. thanks alot you guys were fucking great!.....it was great to see that lastnight was packed in both rooms for the most part. the turnout, to me, was better than i expected it. to be. .....now, its time for VICTOR DINAIRE AND VICIOUS VIC to rock the house!!!!!!!!! |

Good show, Great vibe...... I have seen Acosta a couple times already and I agree with Frankieboy he definitely put on a more serious show this time around...... Everyone had superb track selection.... especially Dylan... Just a real solid party.... |
