Had a good time raving it up early with some classic techno. Minto and Luke laid it down with some really great tunes. Got to hang with P Funk, which was nice. Oh, and big ups to the three, fine-ass Cirque du Soleil performers that came it. I think everyone went home and squeezed one off to them afterwards.

PS I brushed off the biter, it ain't no thang.

Minto and Luke played such great music.

Last night was everything I wanted...just a few friends hanging out, nothing to worry about but enjoying the great music that we would normally never hear at a nightclub.

I heard some very obscure disco, retro, italo, house and techno and it was cool that the bpm range was leaning more towards 105-115! groovy!


...yeah, the girls were hot but all I could think about was them climbing up those poles in the main room!

I got to shoot game for all of 45 seconds when they told me that they were waiting for their cab (in regards to the Cirque Du Soleil Trio). Much appreciation for the music last night and to kick it with Joel, Jeremy, Minto, and Luke.

Kid Creole "Stool Pigeon" was most definitely a nice surprise and to hear the longer version was a blessing. I'd never heard that before last night.

Also a nod to "Sonic the Hedgehog" (the tumble move that Minto was talking about), the black dude dancing like Haddaway (not me!), and the dropping of Naked Eyes' "Promises, Promises".

All in all a wondrous night.

I had so much fun and wish each time we do this more people would come out to enjoy it because we really try to do something special and play records not heard before. I think Luke gets underappreciated here when I believe he is the best DJ in north america and I doubt anyone has deeper crates than him. Luke will be back again at PE and hopefully more of you will come out next time to hear his amazing skills and record selection which is unmatched by any deejay in the southwest much less the whole country.
