| JT Donaldson @ Zubar (Sat Mar 10)
Off the chain... It felt like old times...as it usually does when JT returns home. It was a true party. People were actually dancing, sweating, hugging, smiling, laughing... There were tons of long-time friends out and some that I hadn't seen in over 10 years! ...anyone remember Keith Pillars!?  JT kept it house, but with a few classics and a variety of funk, soul and jazz he really kept the floor moving! The girls were beautiful, the weather was perfect, and apparently it moved on to the Levy afterhours! Even though I was disappointed that I didn't find out about this party until just a few hours before the show...I had a great time and was glad I could attend. Thanks Mo for having JT out.

Helll yes. GREAT time. I recorded the entire evening and will post it up soon. JT rocked my socks off. De tore it up too. First time I have danced this year. For some reason I have grown tired of paying high dollar covers to hear House DJs... and last night was a nice lil' refresher. I was pretty drunky too. The party did go on to the levy. Amy tried to get me to go, but in true old man fashion, I decided against it and she poured into a packed car with other folks and went out there. Man... I wanted to, but when I get that drunk I just think only bad things can happen later and I try to be responsible. Stupid, I guess. I woke up a little bit ago and she was next to me, so I guess nothing bad happened.

thanks mike! what a great night... Been 7 years since I heard JT play records and my ole amigo still bangs it out. Demarkus played a dope set too (his track selection is even more eclectic these days and it was nice to hear) JT killed it and dropped some choice moments from the past, the hot brass version of Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing as the lights came on was a nice encore good times! thanks to Mo and Zubar for putting on a nice one.
