on one side it was some really interesting new sounds

on the other it was a little too 'in your face' banging tech

i left about 20 mins after he went on. just wasnt feeling it at all. i will say one thing though... it was LOUD AS FUCK in there. red-lining headliner + extra sound + very hard room = ringing ears

I somehow managed to take about 40 mins. of this HARD tech house before my ears began to bleed and beg for death. After some of the amazing tracks this guy has but out I was hoping for much more.

JV trust me be happy you managed to avoid this one and you know how excited I was to hear this guy play.

Someone told me this guy plays "fidget house".

it was a great set. he opened with that Unklejam remix and threw in some new stuff as well as old stuff like the Audio Bullys remix. it was great to hear the Bump remix and that new MIA track. i agree, the sound was way too loud, and i'm paying for it today. the crowd was so-so, but the meat heads were dancing and getting into it, so that's cool. overall though, i don't know how you couldn't have a good time at that, unless you're just not into his music.
now i'm off to Austin to see him and Diplo and the rest tear it up tonight!

HUGE disappointment. The guys production skillz are off the chart and his tastes are definitely ecclectic but the shit he was playin was no where near what he makes! System was way too loud for that small of a venue and the bangin' hard house he was playin was awful.

Willing to give him another shot tonight in Austin -- hoping for a set on par with the stuff he produces...

Sometimes too loud is too much...I saw Hernan Cattaneo at Soundbar in Chicago in 2005, I was wishing for him to take out the bassline just ONCE during the whole set, cause it didn't sound like he did any low-EQ sweeping at all during his transitions......

It's good you took notice of some of the tracks...Please let us know if he plays the EXACT same set as he did last night...

i had fun while i was there. had to dip out kinda early though b/ i hadnt eaten all day. came to da club straight from work b/c im a G like dat.

I thought it was a good set.

I didnt think he was going to drop the hammer right out the gate with his signature stuff but as the night wore on he hit some pretty good strides and sounds.

Jeremy did a good job setting it up. The place was rammed with that "crowd" and actually responding well to the style.

I was just happy to be in a different club and getting to hear and see this guy's sounds.
