Guess I'm the lone wolf here. THE SHOW WENT OFF!!! Chuck STILL has it! They played for 2 1/2 hours. DEF got my money's worth. Chuck of course had much to say about Bush considering he was in his backyard. All on point. DJ Lord imo could never fill Terminator X, but he did well as PEs turntablist. They spanned songs from YO to New Whirl Odor. The only beef I have with hip hop shows is that no one can seem to complete an entire track. The show ends up being a 'medley' of tracks melded together. Flav has lost it a little though. I guess I'm partial to him being cracked out. He brought damn near every kid he has on stage and would interrupt the show just to intro his squids. Chuck looked unthrilled and annoyed in that respect. But, at one point when Flav had one of his son's onstage, Chuck steps up and says to the kid, "you want to see this crowd go crazy in one second?" he then gets everyone to raise a ONE in the air. Lord drops the now-classic sample, "SOMEBODY CALL AN AMBULANCE!" BOOYA! crowd went apeshit as flav goes into 911 Is A Joke. chuck's voice is as powerful now as it was 20 years ago. so much conviction. he's seriously one of the top 10 MCs to ever walk the planet. the highest points for me were: Black Steel, Shut em Down, By The Time I Get To Arizona, and Fight The Power. i went to grab a shirt and james bomb was back there. one of the original S1Ws. he just grinned at me when i bought a shirt. he came over to me and said, "this your first PE show?" i said, "No. I bumrushed the show back in 87." he laughed and gave me the biggest hug i'm still aching from. and that, was my first and last show at GTR.

oh griff was there too, i forgot to mention that. he got one song and that was about it. i was hoping to hear something from him off kaos II wisdom, but oh well. btw, brother j from x-clan did the best that he could considering 2 founding members have passed away in professor x and sugar shaft. it was basically him and 3 other guys waving red, black and green flags. i went OFF when he went into Funkin' Lesson and Grand Verbalizer. i got teary-eyed when he gave X and SS their due props. they really had a huge influence on me back in the day. that was awesome to see him with PE.

| Deuces, nigs! | DUDE! THAT's HUGE! How the hell did you manage to forget THAT? That is rocking that they make mention of the fallen soldiers. Chuck and crew really do push things forward and never forget their roots. Now I wish I had gone. Damn it. /kicks dirt

at one point, i thought griff was going to attack one of the guys on the side. i guess someone neglected to turn his mic on during one song. the look he gave that guy was something i dont wish upon ANYONE! chuck even stopped the show to explain the shenanigans. i'm sure that guy wont finish the tour. DOH!

![]() | are you referencing zen? i wasnt there, so i cant really comment. but i heard that entire deal was craptastic. most unfortunate that they were a part of that. plus, i'm sure they didnt perform a 'full' set. when i saw them headline greatest rap show ever though, even with that somewhat truncated set......they went off. to each his own.
