I hope I don't forget to mention anybody, but special props go out to globaldancer, Karen/bunny, and Ash! I think I talked to Stanfield in the bathroom, but the $2 well drinks were in control of my party by that point....

i hate techno, but for some reasoon (alcohol) i had the best time time tonight kicking it with everyone in the hose. Im a light weight!!!!! lol anyay yeah it was good to meet you still rollin. hope to bump into you agin sometime. Everyone else it was just a wicked time on the dance floor. Hope to cath you around agin. peace im drunk and going to crash.

happy b-day shawn. i told you when i ran into you, but i doubt you remember it being your 21'st bday and all... that and i'm a big nobody.... so all considering, i had a fucking blast. i'm sure you did, and everyone in attendance did as well... we need more of joey's "disco-tech" style (as i call it... no pun intended

) around dallas, or at least i think we do. damn, i am at a loss for words... tonight certainly pulled me out of that funk i've been in all week and put me in a DAMN good mood. see you all around again soon...

To be honest I wasn't really feeling most of Beltram's set. He played a lot of disco influenced house and techno, which really isn't my bag. He had me for 2 songs in a row though when he dropped an old Laidback Luke track off Bush followed by another track that I have but can't remember what it is. After that he went back to the disco-ish stuff and I floated between the main room and the lounge. I have to give credit to the upstairs guys, they were definitely educating with a bunch of old electro and techno. Hell I heard Kraftwerk at one point, which is something I *never* thought I'd hear in Dallas much less at Club One.

Anyway, it was good to hear techno in Dallas. Thanks to those that brought him out and to those that showed up.

I hate the fact that there was that FREAK rain storm around the time everyone should have been coming out!

Thank goodness the die-hards forged through the rain... showed up early... and then more came in after the rain stopped.

I had a great time chatting with friends and shaking my butt... it was all good!

I want to THANK all the dravers that I saw out... YOU GUYS made my night! Your POSITIVE VIBES were REALLY needed!
