"In A Van, Down By The River"

As one of the few (and I'm thinking only) DRavers that went to this party, I'll do a review of it. =X

Location?
It was great, in my opinion. Right next to the Sandbar.

Visual Effects?
Those were also great. I was there for when they set up.

DJs/Music?
Excellent. Absolutely grand. Anyone who missed their sets will be really disappointed, especially if they're house fans.

Turnout?
None. No one showed up for this party, save myself, two of my friends, one random person and the crew that actually threw the party. Had more people actually gone to this, it would have been the shiz-nit. But, no, everyone was very elsewhere. <_<

All in all, the party had excellent potential, but, as they said in their e-mail, "There is no game if there are no players." I dunno, maybe people thought it wouldn't be worth the effort, but in my honest opinion, this party would have been excellent had people shown and given the crew's first party their support.

Enjoyed myself even though I

1) Lost my passport and couldn't get into Trees

2) Got a parking ticket.

3) Had some ass rear-end my on Live Oak.

Sorry J, but me & my drunk friends didn't quite make it out there. We had good intentions........really. After a few Sake Bombs at The Blue Fish, we ended up checkin' out Nigel Richards @ the Jacket. Hope you had a good time despite all your bad luck. Take care sweetie & keep up the good work.
