You liked the show! Eddie was simply amazing... he gave us MORE than we expected... And, it was so cool, as the couple of days before the show he asked us what our crowd was like, what they generally liked... etc... and said he would read the crowd from there. Boy did he!!! Thanks for all the great vibes guys!

He threw down some great tracks with superb mixing and lots of sampling and turntablism included. While the track selection was good it was not as innovative a set as I though it would be. he played mostly crowd pleasers, quasi-anthems and stuff Judge Jules is already spinning. Most of the scratching was during the first and last songs. While the scratching was respectable it was about as good as Slinky resident Daniel Bailey (which is really good!). He played some great uplifting tracks mixed with some hard ones and even a bit of of tech trance. I got just about the whole set IDed except for about 3 tracks including the last one. anyone except me recognize any of the tracks??

Huuummmm... I would suspect that is a white label... can anyone confirm or deny if it is. That track was AMAZING!!! It was not expected... that is for sure! Europe is so far ahead of us track selection wise... I wish we could get stuff as it hits in Europe!

| you asked for it..you got it!
aight fellow dravers here's what i could ID out of all the tracks he played (in the best order I can remember)..about 3-4 are missing. if anyone could help that would be great, but i seriously doubt anyone will. anyway here it is.. Eddie Halliwell @ Club Trees Dallas, Texas 07-14-02 Rank 1 - Such is Life (Deep Dub Mix) <--w/ lots of baby scratches Reloop - Fucking Society (Censored Mix?) Tiesto - In My Memory (Airwave Remix) Joy Kikitoni - Joyenergizer (Phisical Remix) Plastic Boy - Silver Bath Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth (Airwave Remix?) Jurgen Vries - The Theme <--a Judge Jules favorite, but I think its cheese Rank 1 - Awakening (Cosmic Gate Remix) <--did some wicked shit with the buildup Art of Trance - Madagascar (remix?)<--i think he sampled in some smooth ambient female vocals Marco V. - The Mutalisk <--spun this at about 145 BPM! Frank Biazzi- Turbulence Cafe Del Marco DJ Snowman - Then They Start to Dance (remix?) btw, i've got everything single one of these on vinyl or CD..you don't have to be a big name DJ to play this stuff. if you like this style look out for my new demo. cheers, Jayson |

You are right... you don't have to be a big name to play those tracks... as they are able to be bought. I would wonder if those tracks you couldn't ID are white labels? Personally... I SUCK at IDing tracks... I knew the Rank 1, Awakening track/Cosmic Gate remix... otherwise, I was at a loss for track names. You are the master of that sir! BTW... the Joyenergizer that he did...was done with two records.... and he was working the mixer like mad between the two records... to give it a different sound. Eddie's believes that the mixer is an instument... and should be used as such... many of the tracks were altered slightly with some flicks of the mixer... ya know? Now... what he was doing with the mixer and the scratching he did on those tracks... I DON'T see from too many locals... well.. not with TRANCE anyways.
