Sooo I ended up going to this grand opening of this new club in ellum last night called open....

Let me just tell all of you.. that it is one bad ass club... The set up is amazing! and the music... well i didnt think I would enjoy it.. b/c I heard what It was called....(cant think of it now) But I was suprised that it was some chill, bad ass shit... Mason and Method can really tear some shit up... there were 2 other guys (names?) that I dont remember.. but they were really fucking good too.

I know when you hear this, you wont want to go.. but there is a dress code.... just dress cute.. u dotn have to get all dolled up or GQ or anything.. just no jeans or tennis shoes..... its really not that bad....

Everyone needs to check this club out... i was very impressed.. and you will be too.

thanks Kerri..... it was really a blast.

To clear things up a bit - you can get in as long as you look nice.... even if yer wearing jeans... or tennis shoes....

i really enjoyed the food - and being able to spin till 4:00 .....

i really appreciate the props, we all had a good time.... and i couldn't believe we had about 800 people on the first night.

if anyone is wanting to check it out... but weary about going, p.m. me - and i'll put you on the guest list.

i checked the opening night out... this place is awesome! dope dj setup, cool decor, and a great crowd... i wish the music would have been bit louder, but then again i was only there early on in the night...

i totally agree with you damon - the owner was wanting to mantain an "atmosphere" ... but around 12:00 or 12:30 - the dancers began to emerge.

we actually ended up throwing down some slamming choons. we went into garage, deep house, nu school, and funky/progressive house.

i was very pleased - thanks for the kind words guys, glad you had fun.

find me next time - and i'll get you a drink.

well, i'm one of the "other guys". my set started right around 1245 or 1 and i had on the black long-sleeve...anyway.

i'll be spinning early at Open on saturdays. they haven't decided who's going to do late nights yet. method and i talked about wanting to work together, but we'll see what the powers that be have to say about that.

so come out this saturday and enjoy some deep/jazz house at Open.
