Blake Jarrell is pure genius! Does anyone know the name of the track that has the female vocals that was very melodic and hynotic that drove the crowd crazy? I've got to get that track.

I understood Rank 1 playing his old tracks but then playing everyone else's also?

His mixing was spot on and he seemed to be having a fun time so that was good.

what I heard of Blake was very nice! I showed up a bit late since i was finishing up at Nobu

nope nothing wrong at all but this was 2 nights in a row.

I heard ferry do it the night before but that was all cool because the classics he dropped were his.

I mean, Ive been in those moods before where i wanna play some oldies (last week at minc) but i guess i just wanted to hear the new chit

Rank 1 just kinda piled on think with them also.. plus with all the major trance jocks who come in town and just play most of their old stuff or what was hot 6 months ago. (pvd and tiesto mostly)

being a trancer, i wanna hear new stuff from the headliners i pay to see. otherwise i could sit in my bedroom and play my old records too

I guess i am spoiled from going to miami to much and seeing these same headliners play their ass off out there and then come to dallas and bring it light

Based on experience working with these guys......when a crowd of 100 people shows up to watch them, they are just pushing play. I mean come on, Piet was looking at his watch, Blake was fucking around with the smoke machine all night smoking out the entire club so you couldn't see the booth (which made for some cool pics btw)....

Was a good time, I enjoyed their sets, especially Blake's. But the crowd was piss poor. And I'm not saying that at those that were there, I'm saying that at those who didn't come.

Honestly, want better performances, bring a better crowd. It ruins the experience for those of us who do actually show, but unfortunately it's the way it is......

Thats no excuse, thats just fucking lazy and believing your own hype...that you're "better than all that". Doesn't matter if 100 people show, or 10,000, you should be playing your heart out regardless.
Reminds me of a Carl Cox story about a show he did that went bust before it ever happened. He showed up at the venue (after catching a cab because the promoter flaked at the airport) there were "less than 100 people" there, and he starts playing for those people.
Not even an hour into his set, the people that own the sound show up to collect it because they had not been paid, so Carl takes out his credit card and pays for it on his own so he can keep playing for the "less than 100 people" that did show up to see him.
Thats class.
Giving a piss poor performance because you think not enough people showed is just weak.
