Chris Fortier at Sky - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

That was, hands down, the BEST set i've ever heard from the man.

Chris is so on top of his game, it's ridiculous. I will even admit that I've heard a couple of sets in the past from him that were lackluster. But this set, was truly amazing. The sound he's caning these days is a lot harder and bass heavy. I've been trying to find someone to compare him to and the only person that remotely comes to mind is Carl Cox. It was THAT hard. He went on around 12:40 and played til 3. That was my first time to ever set foot in Sky. Loved the venue. The sound in the middle of the floor is some of the cleanest I've heard in awhile. Now I haven't been to every club statewide, but I'd venture to say that sound could give them a run for their money.

Lance played an awesome warmup set. Every time I hear him play out is a great time. It blows my mind that he doesn't play Dallas more often than he does considering he lives in these parts. I got there right at 11:15 and Jesse was still playing. Now this kid HAS some game! I loved what he was ending with. I think he's got a recording of the entire night. I'll do what I can to put it up for everyone.

Austin is always a good time. There was ZERO sense of pretentiousness that night. THAT, is what I miss most about Austin.

AllenMD and Brady, are two new friends. Allen, you need to PM details about you know what. HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAA!! Hope all is well mate.

yeah, i must say fortier was dropping bombs, like shittin on peoples heads ha
very nice night UNTIL i got suckered punched in the mouth while dropping donny off

I love A-town. A weekend party trip there is looooooooooong overdue for me.
